Ogunquit, Maine
New Kitchen for the 2022 Season .
Come to Vacationland and enjoy a quite corner of Ogunquit at the Coole Breeze. This lovely home overlooks a beautiful, wild flower filled meadow. Sit on the patio or relax in the hammock and just let the breeze carry your worries away. It's just steps from mouth of Perkins Cove and just down end of the private way is the trolley stop that takes you to the downtown area, the main beach and nearby York. Walk down the private country road to the Marginal Way, the path that runs more than a mile along our rocky coastline with Perkins Cove on one end, the baby beach in the middle and Ogunquit Village on the other. Perkins Cove features all of the shops, fine restaurants, fishing boats and entertainment and are within walking distance. This is a great property for family vacation on private way just off the beaten path of the heartbeat of Ogunquit.
There are some very good golf courses (mini and regular) in the towns of York and Kennebunkport. The Town of York runs one trolley to Ogunquit and stops at the end or the road and can take you to York beach has the York's Animal kingdom and Amusement park.
For your Dining delights try Cove Cafe. Walk to the best breakfast in town . Try Barnacle Billy's for a traditional causal Maine Lobster Dinner and then take the kids down to the Candy Store. Or For a more formal evening try MC Perkins Cove with your S.O. ask for upstairs for the best view. Finally hit a night cap at the bar at That Place in Ogunquit and tell Rick we sent you.
We are on a private way, if you have a larger party of multiple families, there are other houses on cluster around the field also for rent. We have a loose affiliation, so feel free to inquire about that as well.
We all enjoyed the accommodations very much. The bathroom with claw tub a bit hard for short people!! Possibly add dish towels for kitchen or maybe we couldn’t locate them. Enjoyed doing a puzzle and playing games. Complimentary Prosecco was nice. Maybe supply some wood. We all lived the fire pit.
This house had a perfect location for 4 women traveling together. Easy access to the Marginal Way, Perkins Cove and downtown Ogunquit. We could walk everywhere. It is an older home but had a lot of charm. Our one complaint was the cleanliness of the house. It needs a thorough cleaning.
This was our second stay at this property. It's a wonderful location and we had another great visit.
Cottage was perfect for our group of 8. Great new kitchen, large living room. Loved front screen porch and rockers. Huge washing machine. Home is older, charming. Beware pine pitch on Adirondack fire pit chairs. We booked a return stay.
Our family group of six, aged 20-70 had a great time at this home! A cozy place to stay in the middle of everything Ogunquit has to offer. A true “cottage” at the beach. Very easy to communicate with owner.
A lovely private property close enough to Perkins Cove, Ogunquit center, the Marginal Way and the beach. We walked and walked and loved every minute of it. We also walked over the pedestrian footbridge in the cove to the Ogunquit Museum of American Art - a very special place. Our stay was everything we hoped it would be.
This is our 2nd time staying there. We’re a family of 5 with young children. The house is clean and has all that we need. The location is amazing (walking distance to Perkins’ cove). The kitchen was renovated since our last stay 2 years ago, and now looks amazing and is very functional (we didn’t eat out the whole week, and had no problem cooking all our meals there). We will definitely stay here again in the future if it’s available!
This was our best stay yet! Everything we needed was at our fingertips, it was clean, centrally located and WAY better than I had expected. The host was just awesome when we called with a slight hiccup. I would love to go back and hopefully, we will.
This is a great place to stay! We walked to everything and had such a great time. So convenient and an awesome house.
The stay at this property was outstanding. Centrally located with plenty of room. The only drawback was the TV. It may have been the lack of our techno skills but we couldn't get ESPN or other stations that broadcast Saturday football games.
Very easy and Andrew was so accommodating and responsive, I had no worries or concerns at all.
We had a wonderful stay at Coole Breeze. The location was great - so close to Perkins Cove, Marginal Way and Ogunquit Beach. The house was perfect and accommodated our party of 6 women perfectly. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We spent our evenings in the yard enjoying the fire pit and good conversation. I highly recommend Andrew's place.
Great location with plenty to do for the kids and awesome restaurants nearby. The home was clean with an abundance of amenities. We loved roasting marshmallows on the firepit!
This is a lovely family vacation house They've found the perfect sweet spot between a traditional Maine camp and the modern conveniences that make things easy. The place is fully equipped. The only thing missing was marshmallow toasting forks. So that's pretty well equipped! The location is terrific and the porch is the BEST! That plus the fire ring and a hammock -- what else could anyone want?!!
Our group of six had a blast at the Coole Breeze. We spent a lot of time on the screen porch and loved the kitchen renovation! The AC mini splits worked great and the mattresses are fine. This is a quiet sanctuary with a retro vibe that’s a 5-minute walk to the Marginal Way. Communication with Andrew was great!
We went to Ogunquit for a family vacation. We love the location of this house. So close to Perkins Cove, Marginal Way and downtown. The house was clean and was surprised of the updated kitchen which was wonderful. We utilized the grills and outdoor fire pit. Was a very quiet location. We had a fantastic time.
We had a really lovely stay In Oquinquit and this house played a big part in it. It is a 10 minute walk to Perkins Cove and Marginal way. It is close enough to the beach and pier. It was ideal for the early birds in the family and the teens who liked a later start to the beach. It was also great because the young people could have some independence, trekking out for ices or shopping. The house itself is a gem. Nice rooms, hot running water, cool ac when you need it; a lovely new kitchen that would please any cook. The house and the garden is so thoughtfully put together. We enjoyed s’mores and grilled out one night. There are clothes pin to hang wet things. An outdoor shower. It was really idyllic and bliss and the owner was wonderfully receptive to a quick question. We had the best time !
Quiet private spot close to everything! We spent so much time on the screeed porch.
We loved the house alot great walking distance to to town. I was a little disappointed with the master bedroom shower though.
