You'll be around the corner from bustling Freret Street with new restaurants popping up weekly and a short drive away from the world-class boutique shopping and dining experience of Magazine Street. The home is extremely close to Tulane and Loyola Universities, perfect for graduation, move-in, or Green Wave games. The central location means you are less than 10 minutes away from all the major attractions and fun of New Orleans!



The Space:

Professionally designed, filled with local art, and featuring a suite of modern amenities, our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home can comfortably accommodate big groups. Add in a close proximity to the French Quarter and this is the perfect place for groups seeking only the best of New Orleans.



Walk into a spacious open concept living room, dining area and kitchen with plenty of cozy seating for lounging and slow mornings. A large farmhouse dining table and well-equipped kitchen mean you can fuel up your crew for the day with a big breakfast, or gather around the table for group fun time.



The primary bedroom features a lush king sized bed, premium linens and an ensuite bathroom. The primary bathroom boasts a comfortable jetted soaker tub to relax and unwind in, a separate stand-up shower with a low threshold, toilet and single vanity with ample surface space for all of your toiletries.



The other two bedrooms feature queen beds respectively, ample closet space and privacy (no walkthrough layout). The two rooms share a three-piece bathroom located in the hallway that features a stand-up shower with low threshold.



Full size washer and dryer are yours to use during your trip! They are conveniently tucked in a linen closet in the hallway and accessible only to your group. no sharing with other tenants or guests!

Please note the unit is on one single level but the house is raised about 4 ft off the ground. Guests will need to climb about 5 stairs to enter the unit.



Trashcans can be found outside the property by the side of the house.



Guest Access:

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire unit (entire first floor of a two story duplex) including living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and private laundry. Note this home is a duplex and the entire upstairs is occupied by other residents while the entire bottom floor is the space being offered.



The Neighborhood:

The home is located in the quiet the Broadmoor Historic District, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. Today, it's home to many families, young professionals and graduate students from the nearby universities. Here you will see a mix of New Orleans architecture including Arts and Crafts cottages, raised bungalow, and greek revival buildings. Broadmoor is one of the most sought-after areas of New Orleans because it's central location means you can get to all the fun of Downtown, French Quarter, Mid-City and Uptown in minutes!



Demographically, Broadmoor is a microcosm of New Orleans: 67 percent African-American, 26 percent white and 4 percent Hispanic. The area includes a public library, a small park and a number of schools.

Keep right at the fork to stay on I-10 E, follow signs for New Orleans Business Dist/Interstate 10 E

Use the 2nd from the left lane to keep left at the fork, continue on US-90 BUS W and follow signs for U.S. 90 Business/Westbank/U.S. 90/Superdome/Claiborne Ave

Take exit 13B - A toward US-90 W/S Claiborne Ave

Keep right at the fork, follow signs for U.S. 90 W/Claiborne Ave/Tulane Univ and merge onto US-90 W/S Claiborne Ave

Turn right onto Milan St

From I-10 East (Slidell) - Head southwest on I-10 W

Take exit 235B toward Superdome

Merge onto Cleveland Ave

Turn right onto S Claiborne Ave

Continue onto US-90 W (signs for Claiborne Ave)

Keep left to stay on US-90 W

Turn right onto Milan St

    Great location; easy access to the expressway. Close enough to the CBD for easy commuting. Spacious, yet very cozy. Check in was easy. The host checked in soon upon arrival and was easy to contact when questions arose. Would definitely book this house again.
