Stayed May 21, 2024This was a great place stay! There was plenty of room for 3 adults and 3 children, 2 of which were toddlers. Clean and spacious. Very quick drive to Chattanooga. When we had troubles with the bathtub not draining the owner sent over someone an hour later to fix it! Very quick responses! Only down side was the air conditioning was not working properly, but since we were not there throughout most of the day it wasn't a real hindrance. Would definitely book again!

Stayed Aug 31, 2023This house was perfect for the needs that I had during my stay in the area. I was visiting family, and it was close to them which was super handy. The house was clean and inviting when I arrived and had lots of room for my young grandkids to enjoy activities. Although the home is older, it was decorated nicely. The large kitchen was great for making meals. There are limited cooking items, so if planning to do detailed cooking, bring items with you that you think you might need. There is no toaster, but there is a blender. The entrance to the house is via a code at the side door. There are no curtains on the side entrance door, so plan accordingly if you want privacy. While I was there, people came and mowed the yard and did a fantastic job. I also met the maintenance gentleman, who changed out some lightbulbs on the porch that were out. He was super nice. Communication was outstanding, always checking to make sure things were fine, as well as giving information for checking in and checking out. It is close to shopping and other attractions. It was a nice little cozy place to stay away from home, and I will plan to stay there again when in the area.

Stayed Jul 22, 2023The house was very inviting inside and spacious. The kitchen is nice size if cooking. There are a minimal amount of pots and pans and utensils but no toaster and no storage containers. Best to bring your own things if any question about what you may need. It is close to shopping and restaurants in Fort Oglethorpe and close to Chickamauga Battlefield. There are a lot of stairs to the entrance which is through the kitchen. Have a back up plan if you want some of the windows covered (especially the kitchen entrance door). There is a small washer/dryer (one machine), but allow 3-4 hours for one load to finish. Bring your own laundry detergent. It's a great little rental house and would be much more enjoyable and inviting if attention to detail in cleaning would be addressed. There were limited supplies, so we bought our own during the stay. The communication with the host was exceptional and addressed any needs we had while we stayed. Communication checking in and checking out was top notch. Despite some issues, we will be planning to stay again.

Stayed Jan 21, 2026House and location as described, large. Yard showed that other dog owner renters did not clean up properly. Rental management co fellow is available for questions, but asked us to tell him in case we decided to leave early due to weather (which we ended up doing), just so he could get it cleaned immediately. Since no partial refund was offered, I found it annoying to be asked to report in.

Stayed Apr 24, 2025The location is in a decent neighborhood, that was generally quiet, and near restaurants and stores. The house is cute, spacious, beds were comfortable, TVs were decent, and was pretty clean. all in all it was a decent place to stay.there were a couple things that should be addressed:- there is no outdoor furniture, so u will need to bring your own chairs if you like to spend any time on the porch or deck- the front and back doors need to be adjusted. you have to lift them to close and lock them. you could see it's been this way a while because the door handles were flopping around from being used to lift.- the back deck needs some some work. a couple areas are starting to rot and are safety hazards. the whole deck needs to be inspected and fixed.- the main couch in the living room is broken. it sinks in and crackles when u sit on it. it's basically unusable.- the secondary couch has a pull out foot rest that was covered in what appeared to be biscuit crumbs.- master shower has no place to put shampoo or soap but on the floor.again, the house and location are decent. the house just needs some love and attention. one night we decided we were going to watch a movie as a family and the couch situation resulted in us abandoning the idea. the wife and I like to sit outside for coffee or tea and chat, but without furniture we sat on the steps of the deck and front porch. the backdoor was also a pain to open and close and this resulted in us just avoiding it.

Stayed Nov 27, 2024Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had all we needed except we only had one dishwasher pod. The living area was roomy and the dining table large enough for all seven of us to comfortably play games. We did miss having shampoo and soap for the shower, and there was not enough wash cloths and hand towels for everyone. But this is a comfortable distance from Chattanooga, so well worth the price. Be aware that it is only 15 minutes away from Glenn Falls, a short hike with beautiful views, I am 70y.o. and had no problem to get to the falls. However, I did opt to stay sitting on the boulders while the younger ones climbed up the rocks to get to the other side of the falls.

Stayed Nov 23, 2024Place is very spacious and the host was responsive. BUT it could definitely be cleaned better. Baseboards, walls and blinds were grimy looking. There were cobwebs and dead bugs in the cabinets. Dishes still had food stuck on it and the bathroom sink drain and tub did not drain well at all. The couches in the living room are stained badly and really wore down. This place has better potential if they kept up on a deep thorough cleaning.

Stayed Sep 24, 2024My siblings and I came to town to work on our parents house and handle some business. The house was conveniently located and spacious! We rested well and were thankful to be able to spread out in the dining room, living room, and bedrooms. My only concerns were that the bathrooms were not quite as clean as I would like, and there was a leak in the roof into the kitchen lights. The outside stairs on the side of the house were a little bit unsafe.
