Charming 2-bedroom house within the New River Gorge National Park.

We didn't receive the code until after check in. I also thought the security deposit was higher than it should have been. The owners did a very nice job remodeling the house. It was very comfortable

We enjoyed our stay here and loved that it was pet friendly! We were staying in the area to visit the national park and celebrating a birthday! The location was great, close to the park, hiking, and activities. Easy to get to local restaurants and shops. The house was nice and clean, had a well stocked kitchen with appliances, and had most of the amenities we needed. The beds only had a fitted sheet and a comforter, no top sheet and no mattress protector, so that was a little uncomfortable. There are no lamps in the house, only really bright overhead lights. The yard was not mowed, full of weeds and fallen tree branches, and on a slope, so be careful if you're walking a dog. The description lists parking available for 3 cars, but we found it challenging to park just our 1 mid-size suv, there's not much space in the gravel and the house/parking spot is on a blind curve that could be dangerous pulling in/out. We did not receive any communication from the host except for the automated arrival email with door code. There were no instructions sent about checkout or specifically what to do with trash and dog bags for disposal. We travel frequently for work, so these were just some of the minor things we noticed that usually are shared with guests, but would not deter us from staying here if we chose to visit the area again. Overall, cute little house in a convenient location!

Convenient location to see new river gorge. Wish the house had a few things to make the stay more comfortable (hangers for closet, lights for night stand, and coffee table by the couch). But overall good value and good experience!

We enjoyed our stay

The kitchen was very well stocked. The place was very clean. A few clothes hangers would have been helpful, none were available.We found the driveway to be tricky to get out of safely.

Cute house in a great location

Internet was fine. Baking sheet was available in the kitchen. Laundry available Not a long list of to do’s for check out! For us was a great location. Only addition I would add would be an ottoman or coffee table with the sofa- we moved a chair and created our own. Also tv & remote instructions would make viewing easier. I feel this should be mandatory with any rental. We would stay here again.

The layout of the home was inconvenient. You had to go through the living room and kitchen to get to the bathroom. The driveway was level and short. However, it was very close to a huge curve in the nearby road, making it risky to enter

Great location and close to New River Gorge National Park.

Location was convenient and place has been nicely updated. Beds are comfy. Unfortunately I think an animal may have died in the walls or something prior to our stay because there was a very strong odor throughout the house that did not clear with opening windows. It was so strong that no one wanted to eat inside and we left early. Hopefully this is a one off and the problem will be fixed. Only other issue we had is I had to message host for access code on day of arrival instead of a greeting message with instructions as I have received from other hosts.

Close to a lot of area attractions. All we needed for a short weekend.

Great place to stay!

Property was located perfectly between the attractions we planned to see in Fayetteville and the New River Gorge. The house was tidy and accommodating.

We loved loved loved this house. Such a great location, close to the national park, which was what we wanted, and close to some places to eat and shop including a really good ice cream place. Would highly recommend this stay. Lots of room if you’re looking for a stay for four or five people. Very clean.

The house was just the right size and a good location to be able to use as a base to sightsee from.

We came to the area to explore New River Gorge National Park. Convenient and close to the Bridge and the town of Fayetteville. The house was cleaner than clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Well stocked kitchen. We cook from scratch due to multiple severe allergies and we had everything we needed to cook each day. The games were a huge hit and a fun evening activity after hiking and exploring all day. The porch was my favorite coffee spot, and the 4th of July decorations were an unexpected surprise.

We had a great time in this location during our first trip to the area. The place was comfortable, in great condition, and very clean. We appreciate played being able to travel with our dog who is also part of the family. Thank you for hosting us.Mari

Everything was clean, well-stocked, and convenient!

Clean, beautiful views, very close to Fayetteville dining, hiking, and attractions. Porch was nice to sit on. Nice kitchen appliances. Wish there was a toaster and a place to dispose of dog doo. Love the dog friendliness. Highly recommend and would book again if in the area!

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway. Our favorite part was the location, it was 10-15 minutes from all of the trails/tourist attractions. The property was well maintained, extremely clean, and up to date! Perfect place for your visit to New River Gorge NP!
