PS REVIEWS in regard to Neighbor. That neighbor just sold and moved 2nd week of June 2026 after those reviews. Apparently thats why they didn't care how they acted recently as family issues. But they are gone and new neighbor is quiet and polite.

Cute little home. Had all the extras you sometimes need. Toys & coloring books for kids, baby gear, dog water bowls, bed & toys, extra food storage baggies & plastic wrap were helpful for our day at the zoo. The home was clean. Parking was occasionally difficult but that's street parking for ya. Our 4 dogs enjoyed the yard. I appreciated that the yard was securely fenced and they were able to roam. - always had to keep an eye on them though because we had chihuahuas and German Shepherds- my little dogs love to be escape artists. My kiddos loved the extra drinks and snacks provided for them by the host. My only complaint would be that the toilet is way too close to shower. I'm 5'5 and I just barely fit to sit down. I know that's not an easy fix though, so I don't fault the host. The house was clean and didn't stink of artificial fragrance, though some unscented dish soap & hand soap would have been appreciated. Most soaps are just too fragrant and colored- lol not necessary. The location was great! 10-20 minutes to the zoo, the dome, smookin bones bbq, pipers tea & coffee, the breakfast corner restaurant (amazing), and clementine's naughty or nice Creamery (must try!)

This cozy bungalow is everything it says it is and more! Full kitchen stocked with everything you could need, snacks, coffee, tea, water, condiments and more! Fully fenced backyard, amazingly comfortable beds, internet, streaming tv, dog beds, dog toys, cozy enclosed porch in back. Host is available anytime for anything, but leaves you to enjoy your stay. We have stayed in a lot of Vrbos and this is one of the BEST! Not only will I stay again, but I will see you next year! Thanks Julie! You ROCK!!

Julie was a fantastic communicator. She had restaurant suggestions and was helpful in orienting us to the parking situation. I enjoyed the character of the neighborhood--there are several places to eat within walking distance. It is an older part of the city, and the house is older too--which I appreciate, and also has some challenges. The house was originally a one-bedroom, so the second bedroom has been created with a permanent wooden screen and a door curtain. The bathroom is narrow. That being said, I slept just fine in my curtained bedroom. The bed was comfortable and the ceiling fan was very effective. The bathroom was stocked with one of the most eclectic toiletry collections I have seen--which gave us lots of options. I was also able to stay here with a friend for half of what it would have cost us to have two hotel rooms. Getting the space and character of the house, with Julie's prompt communication, on top of the savings makes this a five-star property for me.

Overall a great place. We felt safe here and the neighborhood was quiet. Bathroom is a bit small, and the shower was broken, but we made it fine with a bath and the host was very responsive. Perfect for a quick trip to St Louis. We would definitely stay again.

Was traveling with a friend, we requested to check in early, paid to do so, noon to be specific, had to contact the host several time after noon to get the code to get into the house. When we walked in the house smelled so bad. The air purifier didn’t do the job. There was a left in the toilet, two tissues in the Kleenex box with no more to be found, stains on the shower curtain, stains on the side table in the front bedroom, not talking little stains on either. All of which could have been over looked but things got worse, after checking in there was a domestic argument between the neighbors that included throwing of things (could hear glass breaking) and threatening of a vehicle that was parked just behind ours. We contacted the host, she called the neighbor and things did get quiet, but we were then worried that the neighbor would retaliate! My friend went to shower and it wouldn’t engage, it was broke. Contacted host, she claimed it had just happened, she said you had to manually do it by sticking your fingers up in the faucet, we tried, still couldn’t get it to work. Host said that service couldn’t be done until following Wed. I contacted Vrbo and we left that night. Host threatened and did keep the refund she agreed to with Vrbo so I wouldn’t leave her a bad review. shower incident wasn’t new, per prv review. Told me she was a SC and I threatened her livlihood, said there was a bathroom in basement I could have used. None of this ever mentioned until we left prprty

Neighborhood was not described in listing at all. Bedroom was a dining room. Toilet is in older home, anyone plus size needs to know the tight space to sit. Better for 2 or maybe 3 max. Not a real table to sit for meals. Shower was broken was told when we arrived and did not offer to get fixed, but we would not have wanted people in and out anyway as we did not feel the safest already. Was listed no party on our rental but the house beside was smoking and it was definitely a party for them and it blew into the house with the kids.

Very quick neighborhood…. That was the seller for me… the place is near a church and the bell rings every hour… I just love any musical sounds so I personally loved the bell sound… very cute place with everything you need… for pets and children… it was a very lovely stay… if I had to give one criticism to have the place deeper cleaned every once and awhile get the place deep cleaned… people with sensitive noses can smell the dog dander… but everthing was exactly as it was shown… oh and I got to meet the owner and she was very lovely…

Good - beds are comfy, love the back and front porches, the air purifier is a nice touch, and Julia was in constant communication replying very quickly.Concerns - bathroom is extremely small (barely any leg room when sitting on the toilet and my daughter is only 5'9), neighborhood is questionable (BP gas station had someone guarding the door at night), and had to take out my own garbage (don't understand why the cleaning fee doesn't cover this).

My husband and I brought our 14 year old son 9 year old nephew and 2 year old niece. It was a nice quiet house. My niece loved the sun room. We all enjoyed outside and in the garage. Plenty toys for kids. The owner responded fast and was very friendly. If we ever need a place to stay in st Louis again we will definitely see if it’s available!

Our stay here was perfect. We had everything we needed and then some. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to get a good night’s sleep in the comfortable beds. We appreciated that there were little chairs for our pre toddler to sit in and that it was a safe environment for him to crawl around in. The property was exactly as listed and we really had no complaints at all.

We stayed here for spring break with our kiddos and it was great! The house is older, and there are some antiquey things about it, but it added to the charm for us. Kids toys were available and very much appreciated by my girls. The sunroom is so cute. Had everything we needed and Julie was on top of communication and was very flexible with us. The power actually went out one night due to heavy wind and she was in touch immediately and power was on super quick! There were several people speeding in their loud cars down the street several times a day but that's not a fault of the host. The location was amazing!! So central to all the activities we went to do, close to the hill (amazing food). We stayed at a hotel last time we were in St. Louis but we would choose this spot 10 times over the hotel.

The house is listed to sleep 5 people but you can't use the futon or you'll be charged 50. We have 4 people but didn't want to all have to share a bed. Very inaccurate. There was also a door to the basement which was locked and were people staying there too which we were not made aware of. The people in the basement woke us up at 5am. It freaked us out because we thought we wrre alone.
