Charming 2-bedroom bungalow in fabulous Homosassa with AC, WiFi

This was a very “Old Florida” home. We loved the character of the home and surrounding area. One bedroom had a ceiling fan, as did the kitchen but the other bedroom and living area did not. That’s something that’s almost a “must have” in Florida in the summer, especially. Even if there were a floor fan or something to have at night to plug in, that would have made it more comfortable. Communication with the host, cleanliness and hospitality were all top-notch! We will consider staying here again in the future, and we will bring extra fans to plug in.

The rental was pretty rustic but comfortable for our needs. We needed a pet friendly place close to a birthday party we were attending. Considering that I had to pay 150 for cleaning I would expect the place to be more presentable. Dust was on tables, and a few glasses in the cabinet were dirty and looked like they had not been cleaned after use. I know it's Florida, but waking in the morning to a big palmetto bug in the bathroom sink (including his little poo droppings) was not pleasant, esp. because our hygiene item and toothbrushes were on the counter. I think a pest control visit is necessary. The location was wonderful, but the nearby restaurants were definitely lacking in service and quality of food. Beds were comfy!

Cute little place. Very tidy. Nice to have an ice maker. Very close to a lot of things. Nice yard. I’d definitely stay again.

Great location! We loved the cottage! Our dogs loved chilling in the backyard and on the deck.

Had everything we needed available to us. Prompt response to any questions we had from host. We were comfortable

From time of reservation through checkout the host was exceptional with communication. The house was so clean and had everything we needed. Loved all of the towels. Perfect location, close to McRae's where we rented a pontoon noat for the day. Gorgeous area!! Close to restaurants and the waterfront. If i had to mention anything it was the squeaky bathroom door which in the middle of the night was an eye opener It was funny!! Terrie was a great host!! Will definitely book again

Location was perfect! Host was amazing!!! I accidentally left my ring and she put in the mail for me! Place was very clean and perfect!

This location is walkable to everything near the marina. Walking distance to the monkey bar or other places to eat. The check-in process was very easy and everything worked as expected.

Loved the place, I was very excited with being home and seeing family!!!
