Charming 1-bedroom house in lovely Burien with high speed WiFi,

To start the reservation was confusing. When we arrived the owner said there was a problem with a breaker downstairs so we could use the upstairs. The upstairs is exactly where we expected to stay based on photos of the property. Also there was not a separate entrance we were aware of. The house has a smell like there had been pets there. The kitchen and bath were nice but the living room had older furniture that was uncomfortable. The bathroom water was either freezing cold or scorching hot. The outside of the property was unkept. To top it off, the furnace went out on our last night so we had to leave early which was very inconvenient during a business trip. The owner offered a refund but it was unclear weather I got the full refund amount, I think not, the receipt I was provided did not break down the charges. I expect a 4 star rating of a vrbo to be in very good condition and that is not the case here.

This downstairs apartment was one of the nicest VRBO I have ever stayed in. Super cute.Super clean. Well stocked, and I felt very safe staying there alone. Would definitely return.

This Basement apartment of a house is close to airport and highways. Not far from downtown Seattle with a car. We had a few issues in the beginning of the stay but communication with host was good. Things got resolved. But don’t use water heater, coffee maker and heater all at the same time. Circuit breaker will trip. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. I would stay here again.

I had a great stay. The only thing that I think would be a great help for older visitors would be grab bars in the bathtub.
