Chain of Lakes Head Quarters!!

We have been visiting Chetek for the last 35 years. We have rented private cabins, homes and several resorts. Some nice, some that made for memorable family stories! When I saw that this home allowed our fur family members, I jumped at the opportunity. Going on vacation can be such a stressful time for humans, but twice as stressful for our pets as they are often in unfamiliar places with unfamiliar faces. Spacious, and tastefully decorated. The view of the lake is beautiful and central to some great fishing spots (which shall remain secret!) There are so many pluses to this property, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the three modern bathrooms. Beautiful tile work and modern furnishings is a huge plus for this family of six. My husband and son had opportunity to use the ultra clean fish house as well. Don't overlook this, you will definitely get your moneys worth!

The hot tub was locked and empty the week we were there. Grateful for a place that accommodates pets.Enjoyed the nearby boat ramp so we could dock our boat.

The property was as described. The house was clean, and the view of the lake was awesome. We spent most of the time down by the dock fishing and boating. There were 6 of us there for the week. I have one negative thing, and that is the couches are pretty worn out and not comfortable to sit on.Would rent again.

Everything was great! House was perfect size for our family and the location was great!

We have been renting this property for years. It is a great location. It can accommodate our entire family comfortably. Jon is really responsive and great to work with. It is clean, properly stocked with towels, etcs., and has a great set up for fish cleaning (if you are into that thing). We also enjoy the deck and fire pit. The kiddos enjoy the jacuzzi tub!

My family arrived to a clean, spacious house which was beautifully landscaped. Everything was just as stated on the listing. Kitchen had every pot, pan, utensil, and glass we needed for our week’s stay. Refrigerator was large and held all the food we got for the family of eight. We grilled a couple nights and fished on all the days it wasn’t raining. We were close to anything we might need in Chetek or Eau Claire is a short drive down the road for indoor swimming, an escape room, and Costco and/or Walmart. We shopped several times at the market in Chetek. I had several contacts with Jon and he was always quick to respond. We didn’t find time to use the fire pit but it was easily accessible and ready for us to use. It was awesome to have a convenient fish cleaning space after fishing and the tasty lunch fried up the next day was . Also, we had our two dogs with us which was nice to be able to do. We are aged 69 to 2 and everyone had a great time. I highly recommend this property.

Everything as expected, no surprises.Very spacious, well furnished and equipped. Excellent view of lake from large deck.Our family of seven had a wonderful time.

We loved the location and was very clean. Nice place to clean fish also. Was not fancy but had everything we needed. It was fun sitting on the deck watching people come in to the cove to fish in the evening. Great view and close to downtown. Totally was worth the stay.

This house is a great location! The house itself is spacious and sleeps 12 comfortably. Clean and well maintained. Love all the flowers! Provides a space for cleaning fish. Kiddos loved the games and the jacuzzi tub. Kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. Highly recommend for a family vacation.

My goal was to fish everyday , all day but this was challenged by the weather. It rained every day and our fishing windows were small. We did catch some fish, bluegills and crappies were large. the walleye and northern pike were on the small size. I had my family, wife,daughter,sons and there families. Plenty of room. The area outside the cabin was very good for yard games. Great time considering the weathere conditions.

We stayed for one week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was expected and we were right on the water with a nice dock to use for the boat.
