Lakefront Chetek Vacation Rental w/ Private Dock!

Great place for a weekend away!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful rental property. The location was perfect, the place was super clean and the communication with the owner was easy. We liked this so much that before our stay was over, I was looking to book again in 2026.

This place is perfect for an easy getaway from the cities without driving four or more hours. Cute cabin right on the lake - great views. Very clean, nice linens and has everything you'd need. We've been here two years in a row and hopefully many more to come. Easy booking, check in and check out.

This cabin could not be more perfect. Communication was great through check in. The view was captivating. Furnishings were thoughtful. Perfect private boat dock out front. Public ramps were used to launch but very close by. Do not hesitate on choosing this little gem!

Great house very nice location

Cute, cozy little cabin with nice backyard and big windows looking out on the lake and a nice fire pit area and dock. Bed was very comfortable and the shower had good water pressure and temperature. Had one bedroom and another bed in the living area with privacy curtains that could be pulled at night to make a 2nd sleeping area, which was perfect for our kids. The wifi worked well. The kitchen had everything we needed to make burgers on the Blackstone grill. We found some great hiking trails about 25 min drive away at the Chippewa Moraine Center, and found a very nice dog park right in town. Also make sure to stop for breakfast at Norm's Open Kitchen, about a 5 min drive away.

Our weather was great and we were sitting 30 feet from the lake with a view. The fish even cooperated sometimes. Location is close to restaurants/bars.

This is a beautiful property! Very well maintained. Clean and comfy. Close to everything but yet very quiet at night. Will definitely be back!

Nice, clean, well kept cabin right on the bay in a no wake zone. I sat on the swing and watched a boat show every afternoon. Lots of nice seating and shade. You can see Gilligan's and Lakeside Cantina on each side of the bridge right from the yard. Lake was very thick with algae but we caught Pike, Walleye, Crappie and Large Mouth Bass (along the coastline near the waterski show place). It's a shallow lake and we were there end of July so maybe that's a higher time for algae but it was a lot. We did not keep any fish but I did not see a designated fish cleaning area if we had. Nice neighborhood. Kids were swimming and jet skiing. Lots of happy families enjoying summer fun. The grocery store is just okay so I'd pack your main items or stop in Rice Lake on the way in. We cooked every night so Idk how the restaurants are. Host was great, Googlemaps took us right to it. Price was very good value! Window AC unit did fine.

The rental was exactly as described and pictured. My wife and I enjoyed the week at the cabin, the views, as well as the proximity to night life and the town of Chetek. Property Manager was great to work and answered all questions we had in a very timely manner. We will be back again next year!

Lovely property. If there was one thing bad to say it would be lot of boat traffic and music on the weekends.
