Centrally Located Mid Century Traditional Home

The house had a lot of space with both a fully furnished basement & 4 bedrooms. Host lives next door & is friendly and willing to help, as needed.

We came into town to visit with family. Chuck and Val are amazing hosts and their home is fantastic. It was perfect for our needs. Tons of space and plenty of amenities as well. The location is literally five minutes from just about anything you’d need and the location is very quiet and private. We’ll definitely check the availability the next time we’re in town.

Stayed in this house while dealing with a difficult family health situation. The owner was wonderful and extremely flexible given the uncertainty of our situation. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. Conveniently located off the highway and near several good eateries.

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect—just a short drive to Holiday World, which made things super convenient for our family. The home had plenty of space for all six of us and was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend this place for families visiting the area!

The property was as advertised. The owner is right next door, friendly, and reached out a few times to make sure we didn't have questions. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table downstairs, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen allowed me to cook some large meals to take to family gatherings. No complaints!

We love this place! With many nice updates, the owner has preserved the mid-century charm of the house. The bedrooms are all quite roomy, and I appreciate that the main floor bedrooms have a dresser (not something we always get at a vacation rental). The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes and silverware, and the living room is a great place to hang out on the cushy sofa. The ping pong table in the basement is fun, and the enormous backyard is lovely. As an Owensboro native who now lives out of state, I've driven down this street probably 10,000 times and never knew that there is a little oasis back there! Chuck is a great host. We come to town several times a year, but this was the first time we tried a vacation rental. After staying here, I think our days staying at a hotel are over. 10/10

We stayed for a weekend with friends and my daughter traveling on motorcycles, chuck was super friendly and made sure we had everything taken care of, the house is very nice and clean

Charles was a wonderful host. He made himself available if there were any issues (there were none) and even gave us fresh picked raspberries. We would definitely stay here again.
