Cedarwood Cabin - 3 Minute walk to the beach!

Just an incredible place to stay. Everything need3d was provided. The house is quiet, warm (awesome fireplace), comfortable and just a 100 yard walk to the stairs to Lake Michigan with a gracious and courteous host to boot. We have stayed in many places on VRBO, this is hands down the most prepared house we have ever stayed in. We didn’t need to bring or buy a thing. Thank you again, we plan to rent this place again soon.

We’ve made staying a week at Cedarwood Cabin and annual event. It’s the best of both worlds- beach and cabin in the woods. We have a bigger dog, so finding a place that will take him WAS difficult. We found the perfect place!

Beautiful cabin, wonderful beach, relaxing visit

Lovely, picturesque cabin. Very comfortable and spacious. Clean. Well appointed. Ample kitchen supplies, utensils and plates. Plenty of room for 5 adults and three dogs. Fire pit was ideal for a large group. A lovely place for family memories. Keeping in mind the 80 steps down and up the stairs to get to the beach.

The only complaint would be, the couch was not very comfortable. Cushions flat from age and use. Other wise I loved the log cabin it was so cute very close th the beach and sand dunes. We could ride our bikes everywhere. I would stay there again.

We left a whole day/night early. The owner was made aware I wasn’t happy with the cleanliness soon after arrival. Furniture is something you’d see at the side of the road. Mattresses were not comfortable. Grill was very dirty, we just closed the lid without using. Bring your own water the water smells very bad. The positives-Property felt safe location wise. It is set up nicely for kids with a bathroom & two bedrooms upstairs. It was a short walk to the lake. We walked further down to the park access to go down to the lake. It was not far. Check in & check out was quick & easy.

The perfect getaway with a fantastic location whether you want to relax, or get out enjoy the area. We hope to be back soon!

We stayed for a week. Myself, my mother and four teens. It was amazing. Great firepit! The cabin was clean and cozy. There were enough places though where if everyone needed space we could be alone. The beach is fantastic. There’s a lot of steps down. There is a newer staircase down Lakeshore drive. Turn left and walk past the end of the road. It’ll be on the left it has more landings and is easier for the older crowd to manage.

The cabin is delightful - clean, spacious, well-appointed, inviting and quiet. The location is wonderful - and the walk to the stairs to the beach is less than 1 minute. The fall colors were stunning and we enjoyed time around the outdoor campfire both nights. The house has lots of games and the kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pans and a dishwasher! We had a wonderful visit and will come back again!

If you’re looking for a great getaway only a short walk from Lake Michigan, this place is it. We like to vacation with our dog, so choices are limited when looking to rent. This place was great for us and the dog. Nice cozy cabin in the woods just minutes away from Silver Lake and Pentwater. The only thing missing was the bald-headed bear (Great Outdoors reference). Look forward to returning in the years to come.

The property was just as described. Very nice. Most everything that would be needed was provided. The host was very nice and easy to reach. There were 80-some steps down to the beach, which made it a little hard to carry stuff down, however, once at the beach, well worth the effort. The neighborhood was quiet and nice to walk and the cottage it self was in good proximately to area attractions Really nice place, would rent again.

One of my favorite places to stay- so cozy and relaxing. I always leave better than I arrived.
