The cottage was amazing! Very well equipped. Absolutely everything you could possibly need for your stay. Bedding was lovely , very comfortable. Enjoyed the warm wood burning fireplace. The beach theme is adorable. The homes decor is beautifully put together. We will definitely be back!

What a gorgeous cottage. It was perfect for our needs. It was spotless, warm and cozy. We did all our own cooking and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Denise provided excellent instructions and directions. Communication from booking to check-out was prompt and helpful.I would highly recommend this place. We were sad to leave and hope to go back again.

Denise is an awesome host. The cottage is in a great location and filled with all the extras you could possibly want. The wood burning fireplace was an awesome addition. Three cozy bedrooms and very warm.

Great cozy get away.

I dont often leave rave reviews. I try to keep them short and direct. However i wanna take a couple extra minutes to talk about this stay. I have never in my 10 years had such an accommodating host. Every question was met with a very quick response. The home was beautiful and met with extra little things that made the stay just that much more enjoyable. Thank you for letting me stay in your home and i will be back in the future!

This place was absolutely adorable and cozy. There are so many wonderful details the host has thought of that made our stay seamless. They clearly put so much thought into making this house a wonderful place to stay! It was clean and organized and had very comfortable beds! The wood fireplace really made it cozy and the slightly off-kilter hallway added character haha. I would recommend this place to anyone looking. The location is fabulous, just a 1 minute walk to the beach! I was also impressed that they had kids games, books, crayons and dishes. We didn’t stay here with our kids but I’d be happy to come back with them.

Our stay was fantastic. The cabin was spotless, and had so many extra touches to it- beautiful flower pots on the desk, comfortable out chairs not only by the firepit but on two deck arrangements. The kitchen had everything you needed and more. Coffee makers k-cup machine and all the different coffee teas hot chocolate and apple cider at your disposal. Bedrooms were comfy and felt like you were home. The living room was a relaxing place to gather and visit laugh and relax from a day outside. Plenty of outdoor and indoor games to choice from, so many places to enjoy a walk and when too tired rent a scooter and zoom on home. The local shopping was wonderful and there are plenty of roof tops to stop and have a bevy of choice. We needed more time as this cabin also comes with kayaks and paddles boards. We also had a deer that loved to stay in the area which made you connected to nature. We loved our stay and we made so many treasured memories. Denise you are a fabulous host and certainly it went above and beyond to ensure our stay was everything and more. We definitely will be back.

Comfortable atmosphere with well thought out amenities

Wonderful home! Wonderful hosts! They really thought of every little detail to make our stay amazing. Everything you would need for kitchen, bath, lounge and comfort down to comfy blankets and fairy lights! The addional provided beach towels, chairs and lake fun gear was great! 5 star ratings for sure. I would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing vacation at this property in Sylvan Lake. The home was absolutely spotless—cleanliness was truly a 10/10. A cozy and comfortable stay! The host has thought of everything to make this a great place to be! From a loaded hot drink bar, access to numerous water activities, everything we needed for the kitchen, plus supplies needed for the fireplace. We all really enjoyed the Cedar Cottage and want to come back!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Our host has great attention to detail and has a lot of little unexpected touches that made the stay more welcoming. Place is very clean and I loved that a lot of the products were natural with clean ingredients. Host responded quickly to questions and had good suggestions for local places to check out during our stay. We would stay here again. Thank you for the extras, and I noticed you even vacuum under the beds, you get bonus points for that, usually there are dust bunnies there.

I honestly cannot say enough positive things about this place and host. The location is perfect, and everything is in walking distance that you need. The rooms are spacious and the beds and linens so comfortable. The host has everything you would need in the kitchen including coffee, tea and some welcome surprises! The outdoor space is amazing including patio setup, campfire and all the games. And outdoor blankets if you get cold!My girlfriends and I only regret is we did not stay longer.By far my best experience with a VRBO!

We stayed here while ice fishing nearby. The place was clean, the host communicated everything promptly and gave us some great recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants.

This cabin was so cozy. I would recommend to stay here for sure! It offered the perfect atmosphere for a weekend away.

Family from Calgary, Saskatoon and Red Deer all came together for the first all family Thanksgiving in many years.

The property was absolutely perfect inside and outside extremely well decorated and everything you could possibly need right there and I do mean everything!!!

The property was exactly as described. The beds were very comfortable as was the furniture. Everything you might need/want was provided, including fire starter logs for the fireplace and wood for the outdoor fire pit with numerous chairs available.It was too cold for us to go into the water but there were kayaks, life jackets and other items to enjoy on the water. There was a beautiful deck with very attractive lighting and a very large bbq and an outdoor eating area plus an area just for lounging. We really couldn’t have wanted for anything more.

Fairy lights and a beautiful, creative yard with plenty of room greet you when you arrive. We especially enjoyed sitting outside on the deck or in chairs in front of the fire making s'mores for our little travellers. Inside is delightful as well. The warm wooden tones and more fairy lights create an ambiance that is nothing short of magical (and very relaxing). Another favourite is the kitchen-well appointed and practical with utensils and dishes easily accessible. Just enough of everything. In addition, a generously stocked coffee bar stands close by (it received a lot of use!). Three bedrooms easily accommodated our group of 4 adults and 2 children. And of course, there is the lake-just a brief walk away in both directions. In terms of comfort and convenience, this one is a 10 all the way! We are planning on returning.

Our family LOVED our stay at this cottage! The location is great, and there’s a warm, homey vibe to the beautiful furnishings. The owners get an A+ for communication—they want you to enjoy yourself, and it shows. We can’t wait to return!

Myself and two friends decided to do a mom’s getaway, and chose this cute little cottage at Sylvan Lake. From the moment we booked; our hosts were helpful and easy to deal with. The information given to us previous to our arrival was helpful and informative. Everything we needed to make sure we were well prepared for our stay. Upon arrival we were impressed with the cottage location in relation to the lake, and local amenities. The cottage was exactly as described, and decorated nicely. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for us 3 ladies, but it would also be good for a family. The beds were comfy, and the cottage was well stocked with necessities, and basically anything else you may need to make yourself comfortable. It was clean, and well maintained. Our host left us a gift card for us to get a coffee and a treat in town. Our host messaged to make sure our arrival had gone smooth, and that we were making ourselves at home. We enjoyed our entire stay, and definitely will be coming back! Thank-you to Denise & Randy for your welcoming cottage!!

What can we say. It was perfection. Such a cozy comfy place with everything you’d ever need. Including paddle boards and kayaks ! Too much to list to be honest.HIGHLY recommend this play and we had others staying a different places in town and this was the best by far !
