CB Sunshine Cottage | Pet Friendly + Just 2,5 Blocks to the Beach!

The house was very clean and comfortable, I loved the screened in porch. The fenced in yard was a bit of a disappointment and the bed in the middle room was as uncomfortable as previous renters described. I would definitely consider renting this property again, overall I enjoyed my time in Carolina Beach a great deal!

Easy walk to beach

Cozy little cottage in the perfect location. Was able to walk almost everywhere and the backyard was great for the family dog!

The location of this home was definitely my favorite part. It's so close to the boardwalk. I was able to walk everywhere. The property manager was very easy to get in contact with if we needed anything. The biggest ding would be that the middle bedroom bed needs to be replaced. The other beds were great. I would also say that the important information about the property could all be put into the listing. The portal was just a lot and a little overwhelming. I'm a new mom so finding the time to sit down and read everything was not something I could do. They only provide one roll of toilet paper and one trash bag. There aren't any extras in the home. We stayed for 5 days so that was kind of a hassle for us. The information is in the portal but trying to go in and read through everything just didn't happen so that's my fault. For future guests, bring those extra things. :) Other than that, we had a great stay and would definitely come again.

This house has a great location. It is cute and comfortable. It has everything you need for a short stay at the beach. We appreciated the beach chairs and the outdoor shower. The house had a slight smell, probably because it is an older home. We enjoyed watching the fireworks from the front porch.

We were very happy with this rental property. It was well located being very close to the boardwalk, lake, restaurants and of course, the beach. The property was clean and comfortable and check-in/check-out was easy. The only minor quibble was the single roll of toilet paper provided.

Great location just blocks from the beach, boardwalk, and local restaurants. Get in line super early for Britt’s donuts (or just go at night when there’s no line at all)! And check out the the Saturday farmer’s market by the lake. Property could use some TLC - e.g. paint/wall repair, less than sparkling shower, and need for a new bed in the middle bedroom. That said, we slept comfortably and the place was equal to our needs as a place to crash between beach visits! The AC also worked wonderfully to combat the 90 degree temps and 90% humidity of mid-august! Also super appreciate the place being dog friendly. The property management company also was very responsive and professional.

This place was great. Upon arrival we had told them we'd be coming in late and they were kind enough to leave lights on so we were not coming into a dark unknown home. Everything was clean and tidy. The house is in a great location just a few blocks back from the beach along with a small little fenced in back yard area for your furry friends. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

The house is a little old but it has a charm to it. Very cute and close to everything! Great space and our dog was very comfortable in the backyard. Easy check in and comfortable stay.
