Thompson, Utah
A spacious park model RV that has all the comforts of home. Large living area with television as well as a kitchen with a dining table, where we provide all the cookware you may need. Enjoy the queen sized bed in the separate bedroom. Bathroom with walk in shower. Enjoy the town of Thompson Springs and find something new everyday. As well you are only 30 miles outside of Moab and the wonderful national parks that south east Utah has to offer.
Quiet (except for an occasional train), Fantastic night sky. Peaceful place to get away for a few days.
Wonderful people and place to stay just north of Moab, Utah.
Our stay at the campground was easy going. The directions we received were spot-on. It was convenient to Arches National Park and had everything we needed. It's not fancy but it's clean and pleasant. Thank you.
We have never stayed in an RV before, so we looked forward to this stay with cautious optimism. We were VERY pleasantly surprised! The communication with Walt was great, and the RV was terrific. It has been modified to be stationary with a built porch and width sections to make it much wider, and it has been plumbed to have a great functioning shower and toilet. Everything needed was there! We grilled and had a fire pit for a great evening in a very quiet park with friendly neighbors. It is an easy drive to Moab, Arches and Canyonlands at much more reasonable prices than other nearby towns. Note: there is not a lot in Thompson Springs - basically 2 RV parks, and a combo Exxon and 7-Eleven, but we picked up groceries in Moab. Would highly recommend this place!
This was a great location for our trip to Canyonlands, Arches, and Capitol Reef!
We were pleased with our stay. Had everything we needed, easy drive to Cayonlands and Arches. Would stay again.
Our stay at the Ballard RV Park was just a perfect location for our 2-day jaunt to Canyondlands and Arches National Parks. It was well appointed, clean and comfortable. There is a 7 11 conveniently located to the property for incidentals and gas. Walter was responsive to any questions we had before our arrival. Thank You!
The RV park and our RV rental was one of the best stays of a two week trip. The property was clean, well organized and easily accessible. Bonus was the proximity to Arches and other parks. We were the only couple of four who don’t have a RV so having an option to stay on property with them was great! Much better than a hotel!
The place was great! Internet was sketchy but adequate. Not really any place to eat or shop unless you go all the way to Moab (45 min). The town of Thompson Springs consist of a 7-Eleven. Laundry was $5 a load even though listing said free. A jaunt to the parks but the price was reasonable.
Other than the picture of the inside and outside not actually matching what I drove up too every thing was great. It had everything that I needed.
Our stay at the Ballard RV Park was wonderful. Perfect location for visits to Arches, Canyonland and Moab. The Catalina Park Model was very nice, clean and perfect for our stay. Directions and communication was spot on. Thank you!
This was a first for my partner and I, to stay in a RV on our road trip. We weren’t expecting much, but once we got to the property we were so excited and pleased!! It’s the perfect space for a couple like us and felt completely safe and comfortable. There is even a deck attached to the RV where we were able to stay up late and look at the amazing stars. This property was my favorite we have stayed in. We had a great time and hopefully we can come back!!!
We ended up staying in a house on the property. They had been working on the camper and wouldn’t have it finished. If we were traveling with a family, this would be the perfect place to stay. They had everything thing you need. The half hour drive to the parks was a very easy drive and considering how expensive hotels are in Moab, it’s the per place to stay.
