Clean, friendly, great place to stay. Had great recommendations for local activities and things to do.
Nice and clean
Loved it here in Thompson Springs, UT. Nice RV park. RV had all that you need for a comfortable stay. One evening in the area behind the park, we saw 15 antelope grazing. Found numerous rabbits and turkeys on our walks. Sego Canyon is down the road from the park and we saw petroglyphs or rock art on the canyon walls. Nice, friendly people in the park. Away from the hustle and bustle of Moab which was nice.
Quiet and very accommodating host. Perfect for our Arches & Canyonlands visit. If you’re not a camping person this may not be your choice.
The managers communication was 5 star. Before we arrived, I thought I had researched and asked the right questions to get an idea if this unit would meet our needs.....However it did NOT. We own an RV and have camped all our lives. So maybe we expected something as nice as our own. This unit had some issues. The air vents over the bed did not have a cover and this was very creepy for my wife. The toilet lever stuck so the smell was unpleasant and that is putting it nicely. The air conditioner did not work properly.... so we did not come back until after dark and we would raise the windows to cool down the camper. This camper is not in a campground..... it is a gravel parking lot. For a place to stop overnight I guess it would be fine but not to stay several nights. We were going to sit outside the first night because the camper was so hot and the bugs ate us up before we could get the chairs off the porch. The other places we stayed told us they spray to keep the bugs away. We did not experience the bugs at any of the other place in Utah. I wanted to stay somewhere where we would not be surrounded by concrete but this was just not the right fit for us. It was 100 degrees or more on the second day and we left the air conditioner on so the camper would be cool when we returned. When we returned, the camper was so hot ...a candle my wife had bought for a romantic candlelit dinner had melted and was nothing but a glob of wax. Could not recommend this unit. If you have a nice camper at home ...this is not a home away from home substitute.
The property had everything we needed - right down to coffee and spices. Dave and his wife were great to work with and the location was perfect - convenient but quiet. We have recommended this place to our friends and will definitely rent again should we be back this way.
Great place for two. Close to Moab and Arches National Park. Very clean with everything we needed.
