Castle Rock, 1 mile to Bowdoin College

Wonderful stay with friends and walking distance to Bowdoin and Maine Street. Enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor porch view day and night.

We stayed here previously and loved it so much we came back again! This property is beautiful with a lovely view. This home is immaculate and well maintained. The owner was attentive and answered questions promptly. We highly recommend this property!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful and roomy. We loved the view from the back deck! House is walking distance to Maine Street where there are cute shops, restaurants and coffee shops.we walked every morning before heading out for the day. The location to other towns is great! 50 min to Booth Bay, 40 min. To Portland and 2.5 hrs to Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved everything about the location of this house; has a fantastic view across the Androscoggin River and lots of great shopping, cafés, and bakeries nearby. Was a great central location for us to visit family and friends in the Portland area.

Top notch is all respects...so clean, wonderful view, highly comfortable, well kept, and lovely home. The best of all seven of the VRBO homes that I have rented in the past.

The house was everything we needed. A great place for friends to gather and play cards; cook and drink wine. It had enough hot water, towels, room, and a picturesque balcony view. We would come back again.

My family of four loved our stay on Water Street in August. The house is lovely and the view of the river and the mill from the generous back deck and the upstairs windows is amazing. Comfortable bedrooms, very nice linens, spacious kitchen. The location is great as well. It's a 3 minute walk into town (note thatgoogle streetview makes it look like you have to walk next to Rt 1, but really you will just use the short overpass). Also - we belatedly realized tha tthere is access to the river down the street at the boat launch! We were all sad to leave. Lovely stay!

We had a spectacular week in July at this property. Its location is superb. It's only a few minutes walk to downtown Brunswick's shops and restaurants. The view from the back deck is stunning and filled with wildlife. We saw bald eagles, ospreys, and, believe it or not, a seal in the Androscoggin. The interior is equally amazing with a fully equipped kitchen, high-end appliances, stunning views from every window, and comfortable beds. We can't wait to come back.

Our group of 3 couples had a great time exploring Maine from this gorgeous, well- appointed property. Jessie was a very responsive host. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings and watching the river run by. Thanks for a great stay!

This was a lovely property with amazing views and great kitchen. We spent a lot of time on the lovely deck looking at the river. We loved that we could walk into town. Jessie was very responsive great host. It was unusually hot when we were there and the ac didn’t reach the 2 smaller bedrooms well. One of the smaller rooms didn’t have a closet. Overall an amazing stay.

This is a beautiful home with a delightful backyard and deck overlooking the Androscoggin river. This home has served as the perfect location for our family visiting Bowdoin College. It is a little down and across the street from the Federal hotel. The picture shows view from back deck. Jessie is quick to respond and very helpful. Kitchen is fully stocked. Bedrooms with thoughtful comforts. Home has everything you would need on a visit. I give my highest recommendation
