We had an excellent 3 night stay in this studio cottage in a safe ,quiet neighborhood. Convenient access to restaurants, shopping, coastal areas and state parks with walking trails. Loved the traditional homey space, artwork and small private balcony to enjoy my morning coffee and evening cocktail. As a host Susan is friendly, informative, accommodating and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. She has included many small items in the kitchen and a few condiments to make your stay more comfortable. The cottage is updated, clean and the queen bed is super comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The place is just as pictured. The only thing that didn’t match was there was no washer/dryer. Susan was wonderful though. We’d been on the road for 3 weeks and she let us use her w/d. She’d been trying (unsuccessfully so far) to get VRBO to remove the w/d from the listing. The toilet paper was super thin, however. Otherwise the place was great. The Internet worked well. The shower was good. It was a walk to most of Brunswick. The bed was comfortable.. And the host (Susan) was so nice.

We enjoyed a wonderful short stay at Susan’s cottage —- had everything we needed; so comfortable and well-appointed; lots of thoughtful touches; close proximity to downtown —- and best of all was getting to know our host, who was delightful! … thank you, Susan!

The cottage is absolutely lovely. My teen son and I stayed while visiting Bowdoin. It’s on a quiet street that is a quick walk to campus. The decor was beautiful while also being relaxed. It also was very clean and I appreciated that the sheets and towels were scent-free.Though the cottage is directly behind the host’s home, it felt completely private. As for the host, Susan could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Communication was outstanding from my first inquiry before booking to when we left Brunswick. Highly recommend. I hope to return!

My spouse and I recently spent our Thanksgiving holidays in this little gem in the heart of downtown Brunswick. We were immediately made to feel welcome by Susan, and the houses felt like home to us. Thoughtful amenities were everywhere. There was a great reading selection - art, music, literature, vintage children's books. Best of all for me was the baby grand Steinway tucked away and ready to play. So cozy and warm. We will be returning for sure. Carol & Peter

Comfortable and private. Within walking distance of trains and buses that can take one further north or south. Easy access to downtown and coastal highway 1 by car. Hostess has tastefully decorated this studio cottage with good art and good books.

Even before we arrived, Susan made us feel welcome. She made checking in very low pressure and simple...we just walked in. At first glance, the cottage seemed quaint and peaceful. Inside, every item is attentively appointed and very tidy. Cleanliness is very important to us and the cottage was absolutely impeccable. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area and I highly recommend it as a comfortable, clean, peaceful, and beautiful rental property.
