Everything was as good as or better than expected. The property is close enough to town to make a quick trip if needed, but far enough out that you don't feel crowded. We loved the solitude and the views. The house itself was really a neat place, we easily found what we needed. Definitely plan on coming back!!
The property was great. We had no issues with the accommodations. The beds were adequate. Bath was fine. Some previous guests had left the dishes only half-way washed, but that's not the owner's fault. I do wish I had known that the distance to town was irrelevant because the roads to get to the house were very narrow and very winding. We did fine, but knowing how carsick my family gets, this would have been nice to know in advance.
We loved our time in this little cottage. The views are great and the outdoor space is wonderful and welcoming — you’ll find yourself outside often in the beautiful courtyard! We especially loved the pots and pans selection for cooking nice dinners. I appreciated how comfortable the mattress is in the main room and LOVED that there’s a large window you can stare out of while you’re lying in bed, to catch the stars and then the beautiful pastels of the morning! Be ware of the super cute black and white cat that adamantly attempts to sneak into the house when your back is turned (it tore open a bag and ate almost all of our focaccia…poor kitty).
The home was even better in person! Looking out each window offered another beautiful view. The heated floors made the home feel like a big hug. The bed was super comfortable and the whole experience was very peaceful. We wish it would have been warmer so we could have enjoyed coffee on the patio but will have to come for another visit in a warmer time of year. Our family of 4 had plenty of space to spread out. We would recommend to others and hope to come again.
