- Please note that infants are considered part of the total guest count under HOA rules.
- Please note that the garage is not accessible to guests.
- Direct beach access is not available from the property.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Even though the home is close to town, there are no shoulders on the road, making it potentially dangerous to walk due to passing cars.
- Whidbey Island is home to a naval air base. On a few weekdays each month (and occasionally in the evening), you may hear loud flight training. The Navy does not conduct training on weekends or holidays and typically publishes the schedule one week in advance.
- Please note that the propane BBQ is available from April through October and is put away during the winter months.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

    Our stay on Whidbey was amazing, and this house was a big part of it. The place is clean and spacious, with a glorious view of the sound, Camano Island, and the Cascades in the distance. We enjoyed time on the deck just looking out at the ocean as well as cooking many dinners in the large kitchen. It's convenient to most of South Whidbey Island and even walkable to Langley if you're hardy enough (like my wife).The only thing to be aware of, especially if a good shower is important to you, is that both showers have very low water pressure and don't keep a steady temperature. We could only use one shower, since the one in the main bathroom was so weak that it wouldn't rinse out shampoo. AvantStay told us they couldn't do anything about it, so bear this in mind. It was a small blemish on an otherwise amazing stay.

    Take a minute to just sit and take in the views.This is a great house with sweeping views of the Puget Sound out of every window. It's also close to great parks and downtown Langley for some really good eats too!

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family enjoyed our stay at Cascade View. The house was nice and the views were amazing. The property was well kept and clean. The blackberry bushes in the backyard were ripe and we enjoyed all we could eat. Our four year old loved it. Two negatives to note. The master bed was VERY firm and had a rubber mattress pad (very strange) which made sleeping in that room uncomfortable.

    A beautiful two story house with an upscale design perched in a prime location on Saratoga Road with a sweeping view of the Saratoga Passage and the Cascades beyond. The house sits in a quiet location but is a short drive from the shops, galleries and restaurants of the quaint town of Langley and only slightly longer but forested drives to the Clinton Ferry in one direction and top rated Double Bluff Beach in the other. The hidden gem for us was the Saratoga Woods, only a hundred yards down the road, with a network of trails through an enchanting old growth forest. After an exciting day on this wondrous island, this well situated rental house was always a welcome place to return, relax and gaze at the incredible view through the many windows on the main floor and in the bedrooms, from the large deck or out on the back lawn. We highly recommend staying at this house while enjoying the tranquility and beauty of Whidbey Island!

    We stayed for approximately a week in this Langley property- the house was just as represented, and a very comfortable stay. We had a couple of minor issues that required communication with the property management team, who were absolutely responsive and accommodating. If there was any negative about the house, it would be that the property, while equipped with the basics, seemed a touch light on amenities, relying on whatever leftovers were provided by previous guests for pantry staples, and providing the bare minimum paper products for the bathrooms. While this is stated in the description, (starter supply), it's not very expensive to provide those, and the overall impression of the property would increase noticeably. We will certainly keep this property on the short list for when we come back!

    This house was a respite for us! We enjoyed watching the water and clouds change as the weather changed. Hummingbirds were in abundance. It was quiet and peaceful and just what we needed to take a break. The house is beautiful and comfortable and the listing is accurate - it was easy to find with GPS and there were lots of things to do in and around Langley!
