Nice home big and spacious …. Could have used a little more cleaning up like vacuuming the floors from the previous guest and cleaning out the smaller ice maker as it was filled with mold. Check it was decent i would say 6/10 it woulda been a 10 but after driving 7hours the door didn’t unlock with my code and had to wait about 15 extra minutes while i kept calling host to pick up so we could check in….all in all I’d say it was a 7.5 out of 10 for the stay…it was a nice spot i would book again if I’m ever in that area

7:42AM David sent a message with check out instructions. In those instructions, it stated check out time to be anytime before 11AM CST. I responded thanks, to which he responded “Let me know when you check out” at 8:03AM. I did not respond to that as we had started packing up our things and taking showers. At 8:30ish, while I am in the shower, I hear my husband talking to another man. It was David. There was no message stating his need to come by. He did not knock. He just opened the door with the provided code or his key and walked on in. My husband was very confused as to why he was there, but David acted like this was all normal and stated “He likes to come by and meet the guests”. My husband told him we would be gone about 9AM, then watched him walk out the front door and returned upstairs to answer my questions about what was going on. While my husband was upstairs talking to me, David decided to return into the house and go into the first level bedroom, shut and lock the door. When my husband went downstairs to check that room to make sure we got everything out, he realized it was locked and David was in there. I sent a message to David stating please leave incase it was a language barrier. He never left the room for me to check to see if all of our stuff was out. I called the police and dispatch said it would be a bit before they could get someone so we packed up the rest of our stuff, left, and filed a complaint with VRBO to which David won’t respond to them or me.

Stay was great. It was a little hot but other than that the stay was great

Brand new updated modern style. Great communication with host. Comfortable mattress and sofa. Plenty of towels and blankets. Garage parking a plus.great location and neighbors were quiet. Would stay again. Thank you so much for the wonderful home to get away.
