For those who enjoy the outdoors, this recently finished property is located five minutes from two beautiful beaches, Samara and Carrillo. The property is adjacent to a protected tropical conservation jungle with paths and the property itself exudes a lush, verdant, tropical vibe. A private pool with a tanning ledge, an outdoor shower, a covered dining area with a grill, and a cabana with a queen day bed are among the outside amenities.
The two air-conditioned bedrooms at Casa Tranquila each have a king bed, a closet, and a television. The bedrooms have huge glass sliding doors that open to the terrace or pool. The primary bedroom includes a private office, an ensuite bathroom, and a shower open to the sky. There are dimmable spotlights lighting the 18-foot teak ceilings throughout the entire villa.
The built-in furniture is made by Costa Rican cabinet makers out of local teak wood. A full-sized gas stove, an electric oven, a Whirlpool fridge/freezer, and a dishwasher are all included in the chef's kitchen amenities. A Kitchen Aid mixer, coffee maker, Cuisinart food processor, and Ninja blender are examples of small equipment. The kitchen also has all the tiny items that are required. A full-sized leather couch, a 50 television, a chaise lounge, and stools for the spacious island are all included in the living room/kitchen area's furniture.
Just beyond the primary bedroom and living room, there is an outdoor dining and grilling area that opens to the pool and tropical garden. The entire property is encircled by a 9-foot fence for privacy and protection, has cameras pointed at the gates and front door, and has a safe lockbox. Throughout the entire property, there is swift and dependable WIFI! Groups, families, couples, digital nomads, and small groups seeking some Pura Vida will all love this house!! This residence is ideal for guests traveling in large families or parties, because a sister property is located just next door, and a security door, connects the two pool areas. As a result, the kids won't need to cross the street to visit their neighbours.
Except for one owner's closet and the garage, guests will have complete access to the house. Cleaning service is available throughout stay upon request and at an additional cost. Private chef and concierge service available upon request and at an additional charge. Stayed Mar 5, 2026Overall the house was very nice and very comfortable. We had a couple of issues during our stay but Luis was very attentive and responded quickly to solve the problem . Location was a little remote in the hills but very quiet.The house was very well appointed with everything you need. Thank you Luis for being so responsive. Much appreciated!The Henderson family!

Stayed Mar 1, 2025Samara is a magical place and this house was our perfect home away from home. It is just a few minutes from town up a very steep hillside. We rented a car which worked well for this purpose. The home and pool area are completely private and enclosed. It is quiet and serene except for some minor construction noise and the sounds of nature. Louis was easy to communicate with. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Some furniture and the fridge may soon need to be repaired or replaced but this did not take away from the wonderful home as everything functioned well! We highly recommend Samara and everything it has to offer. We are hoping to return next year and bring more family. The house next door is accessible through a gate so we are hopeful we can rent out both properties. Thank you, Louis!

Stayed Nov 13, 2024Overall, we had a great stay. The house was stunning and Louis was incredibly responsive when things popped up. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain during the extent of our stay, which had some small impacts on the trip itself and limited our use of the amenities and exploring the area, but we’d definitely recommend the house if you’re visiting Samara.

Stayed Oct 7, 2024Beautiful modern casita perfect for us two, outer walls lined with gorgeous plants to entice the butterflies and damsel flies. Spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, well-screened sliding window-doors for easy indoor-outdoor living. The pool was wonderful for cooling off. Outdoor covered bed to relax on was sweet, with howler monkeys entertaining us in the trees... once we figured out what they were! Overall, the place was a gem!

Stayed Jul 30, 2024My husband and I along with our daughter and her husband stayed at Casa Tranquila for 10 days. The house is aesthetically beautiful inside and out. The layout of the house is spacious and perfect for two couples. The kitchen is very well equipped and the outdoor dining area was great for meals and just hanging out. There is A/C in all the rooms as well as outdoor fans which helped to keep the mosquitos away. We spent a lot of time around the pool watching the monkeys that would visit almost daily. The house has everything you need for the beach, from beach towels to umbrellas to chairs. The location is excellent, very close to the town and to Corrillo Beach. Louis is a great host. He was very responsive to any questions or requests that we had before or during our stay. I would highly recommend this house. It was hard to leave!
