Casa Mare Blu in front of the sea of Mondello

We had a lovely 2 week stay in Casa Mare and enjoyed the convenient location close to the beach and all amenities. The owner and his manager Marina were extremely kind and helpful during our stay and were very quick to respond to any queries we had. We enjoyed the beautiful garden which is well maintained and full of frangipani, jasmine and hibiscus, as well as the odd gecko to the delight of our 5 year old grandson. The kitchen, bathrooms and all areas of the house are comfortable and function well. There is an indoor dining room as well as plenty of comfortable outdoor seating areas. We ate many meals outside the kitchen on the lovely terrace. The main bedroom was very comfortable. The living room functioned well as a third bedroom being somewhat separate to the rest of the house. The living room and main bedroom both have air conditioning. The apartment contains some lovely pottery and artwork. We would definitely stay again.

Our family spent 11 nights in this gorgeous villa. The outdoor grounds were spectacular with multiple seating areas and outdoor cooking area. The location could not have been better it was 2 minutes from the square and across the street from the ocean. The host met us with a smile even we at 2am late flight arrival. They promptly got back to us whenever we needed something. We highly recommend this villa and would be thrilled to come again anytime. Thanks for the wonderful vacation.

Ground floor apartment with easy access to Mondello promenade and beach. Two large bedrooms, bathrooms small but adequate, kitchen fully equipped, albeit no Microwave. Good wiFi throughout, large dining room and separate lounge. Large private garden with seating areas in sun and shade. Alberto met us on the edge of Mondello and escorted us to the property with a parking space reserved, welcome bowl of fruit and essentials in fridge which was very welcome. There are a range of shop local and two good supermarkets within easy reach by car, produce cheap and good quality. Bus stop directly outside with routes to Palermo. Beach is free, good range of restaurants, bit pricy but food good. No onsite parking, on street parking free till end of May, pay parking from 1st June to end of September. On the down side, beach front is busy at weekends and parking can be difficult. Road is noisy as it is part of a one way system, and lot of people use it late at night. Watch out for the mosquitos and the italian drivers.
