Casa Mamacita: Beautiful new home in peaceful jungle setting

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Casa Mamacita! The home is spacious, peaceful, and surrounded by lush jungle, with a beautiful pool that’s perfect for relaxing. We really appreciated Wade and Sandi’s binder with useful information about restaurants, sodas, beaches, and more — such a thoughtful touch. Dennis was an excellent host — easy to communicate with, readily available, and very attentive. We truly appreciated the care and hospitality. Highly recommended!

This is an outstanding property and we really enjoyed our stay. Denis, the host, was friendly and available for any help or questions during our stay. Quepos is a few minutes by car. Highly recommend this house.

Seriously the best! Peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough for conveniences. Vists from animals daily! The pool was perfect!

What an amazing house! The location was perfect to access the town and all of our excursions. We enjoyed our coffee every morning with monkeys and birds. Dennis was very helpful and set us up with great guides for Manuel Antonio and the Jungle Night tour. We will definitely be renting the house again. Thank you.

As two retired couples, the house perfectly accommodated our needs with two master suites. The entire house is perfection with AC, comfy beds, great showers and lots of hot water, a well stocked kitchen and even a laundry area. Outside is spectacular with a lovely and much appreciated pool, large deck area with shade and all nestled in the jungle with complete privacy. We had both squirrel and capuchin monkeys pass through every day along with a variety of birds, sloths, coatis and butterflies. The hosts were excellent at communicating with us as was the property manager and really, it was a 10/10 stay.

Casa Mamacita was ideal for our family trip. My family of 4 was able to relax and unwind for a few days. The jungle sounds were peaceful and the animals entertaining. I enjoyed coffee on the deck outside the master bedroom. Swims and reading in the pool were enjoyable. The house had mostly all of our needs. We had a few minor hiccups with the grill and the pool door, but Dennis came to help us and communicated right away. The home is beautiful and there is so much thought and attention to detail. We felt safe and the location is perfect for proximity to excursions. We loved our family vacation and would definitely recommend Casa Mamacita to future guests.

We LOVED this house. Hosts amazing. Amenities perfect. Location location location 100% spot on. Albeit this was our first trip to this wonderful country but we couldn't have asked for more. Casa Mamacita is a great spot for family or friends to share. The town of Quepos is quant, friendly, and submersion into true Pura Vida living. Our whole family loved the house and location. It was voted the best part of our 3-week trip across Costa Rica. Our kids loved the morning backyard visits from the large troops of squirrel or capuchin monkeys. Dennis (the property manager) was great with recommendations and also helped us book a half-day fishing trip, where the kids caught a tuna that kept us in fish for the week. The pool was cool and refreshing after the hot days. It was great being surrounded by the jungle, but still a short drive from both Quepos (for good restaurants, grocery stores, etc.) and Manuel Antonio (for the National Park, amazing beaches, etc.). We'd definitely recommend the house for families looking to see Costa Rican wildlife.

I had NO IDEA how magical this place would be. The pictures don’t do it justice (and the pics were amazing so you can only imagine!!). We felt like we were in our own little resort. Each morning we would sit by the pool and eat breakfast and watch the squirrel or capuchin monkeys play in the trees. After a day of fun we would head back to the house and swim and watch the monkeys again. It was beyond words!! I was in heaven!! I should also note that the trails near the house were so fun to walk. We walked them on many occasions. TONS of wild life to see!

This house was incredible as we had everything we needed and the wildlife sightings from the yard was amazing-butterflies, squirrel monkeys, anteater, 3-toed sloth, lizards…great location for easy walk to Biophilia Night Tour. Thanks to Wade, Sandi, & Dennis for providing great recommendations to make our first Costa Rican experience so special for my family of four.

The house was exactly as advertised with every Amenity you could ask for, great location for feeling secluded in nature while also having groceries restaurants beaches and marina 5-15 minutes away. Squirrel monkeys in groups of 5-25 frequented the backyard landscape almost daily both in the AM and afternoon. The guest book was filled with useful tips and the owners and property manager were very responsive and helpful.

This Vrbo was excellent. The pictures don’t do it justice. A very upscale house. Comfortable. Lots of monkeys and wildlife. The price is a great value for what you get. The pool was perfect. Well equipped. Convenient to Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Owners and property manager communicated well and made sure we had what we needed.
