Stayed Jul 25, 2019Green oasis charmingly located in the city center. Everything is so close, perfect hub and spoke location to travel and explore Venice and the region. Luca is a great host, full of enthusiasm and useful information, ready to help when is needed and ready to dissapear if you want piece of mind. Property is pretty new but lovely spiced with ancient wooden, plaster and stone details. You'll enjoy backyard with hidden path between greenery, unwinding after full day of sightseeing or soaking up the sun drinking coffee in the morning - almost to wish to stay there all day and contemplate about meaning of life :) Everything is as described, even better. I would highly recommend this property, Luca as a host and this place full of history and beauty.

Stayed Jun 1, 2019A great time in an oasis of birdsong in the heart of Mestre. The little house has everything you need, is spotless and private. Luca is a hugely helpful host.

Stayed Aug 7, 2018Since only a few days we're back from the beautiful green oasis, which lies in the middle of the city Mestr-Venice. The magical property Casa Lunia has inspired us at the very first sight. Our cozy, very nice and clean cottage with it's beautiful garden was perfect for chilling and enyoing the sun. From that point in we could start our excursions, inspired by our very charming an nice landlord Luca, who was always there if we had some questions absolut citys all around Mestre. A very nice advantage has been the bus stop, which was almost 1 minute away by foot. We could easily join the bus and start the trip to the heart of Venivpce. It only took us 20 minutes to get there. Afterwards we decide, if wanted more to walk through the alleys or go by the Vaporettos. Even though Venice is contorted, we could easily found the restaurants and places Luca told us. The street map Luca gave us, was full of important an interesting facts, which has been helpful. Back in Mestre we went to the supermarket, which has got a very large assortment and it's not only 10 minutes away from our cottage. As we asked Luca which restaurant he'd recommended, he told us to go to the unbelieveable delicious Da Pino. Now we can say, he was totally right about the food there. The Pizza and Pastas tasted incredibly good. In the beautiful old town of Mestre you can as well find very delicious ice cream for dessert. At last we can say, we really enjoined our stay and we hope, we soon have the time to come back. We still weren' t be able to visit everything we wanted. And some places are just worth to be visited twice.

Stayed Jul 27, 2018Having just returned from a weeks holiday in this little gem in Mestre, we would not hesitate to recommend Casia Lunia's independent apartment. From our first enquiry, Luca, our host responded to all communications very quickly and helpfully. We arrived earlier than expected but Luca checked us in, offered us refreshments and stored our luggage all before walking with us and pointing us in the direction of nearby places to have lunch. When we returned our luggage was in the apartment and what a lovely apartment it is! As a family of four, including two young adults, there was plenty of room and two modern bathrooms. Great air con as well, a must in July! The grounds are well kept and the apartment has a covered area which is ideal for eating outside. Our host took the time , over a lovely cappuccino, to offer advice and travel tips for getting around Venice and the surrounding area. There is a bus stop 2 mins away costing €1.50 each way and takes 20 mins to Venice (Purchase your tickets at the little tobacco shop nearby and always validate them on the bus!) There are a number of reasonably priced restaurants nearby and small supermarkets within easy walking distances. Trams and trains are also accessible but we found the bus handy and inexpensive, although busy at times. Luca's very helpful and charming manner helped us really enjoy Venice and the surrounding areas as this was our first visit to Italy. We would highly recommend!
