This place is set ideally within walking distance of many centro plazas, restaurants, bakeries, bars, shopping, museums, parks, etc. We had a lovely time during our siestas relaxing with the city walls of this unique rental. We were surprised to hear street custodians pushing heavy carts through the streets at dawn and the school next door starting with a first period band class, but it added to the liveliness of the place. The amenities were as explained. The kitchen was stocked with some basics. One consideration might be to wipe down the dishes, which had collected a slight dusty film, as they are placed in shelves without doors. Overall, the place was quite tidy and pleasant. Staying at this place you really get a feel for Queretaro. It's only two blocks from Plaza de Armas and the center of the city. In 5 minutes you're surrounded by stunning plazas and all the restaurants you could ever want. Maria was a great hostess, easy to reach and very responsive. We got the keys immediately and were left to our own devices until we needed something. The house is great, plenty of room for sleeping and it has an open courtyard that's perfect for having friends over for a pre-excursion drink or a nightcap. Highly recommended.

Our group of five had a wonderful vacation at Maria's large hacienda on Ave 16 de Septiembre. The location is absolutely perfect for visiting the historic parks, gardens, restaurants, marvelous churches, and shopping in the series of connected plazas that make up the Centro District. Only three blocks away from the Plaza des Armas gives the house easy access but also peace and quiet. The home interior is big, well lit, and comfortable. The bedrooms were comfortable with great bedding. The common area for dining had three sitting areas which was wonderful for a group that likes to spread out. We were traveling with family, five is us in total, and we all agreed we’d chose this home again! We had a great time!
