The house was very clean. The location was perfect for exploring La Fortuna. Marco was wonderful. And the set up of the house is perfect!

Marco’s house was nothing less than amazing. The outdoor element connects you to nature. Enjoyed waking up to the pools waterfall and daily humming bird visitors. The four upstairs bedrooms were very comfortable and cool. One of our favorite vacation rental!

Host was very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Marco was a wonderful host and the property was very comfortable. Everything seemed to be very clean and updated and well kept.We had NO issues at the home and the neighborhood was very charming- a block from a school.

Marco’s home was perfect for our group of 10. Comfortable, inviting and fun space for us all to spread out yet be together. Love the open air living space and the pool was so fun. Beds were very comfortable as well. We walked to breakfast and dinner everyday and there were so many options we couldn’t get to them all. Marco was a great host, very communicative and helpful. The property is lovely and worked for our extended family of 8. We were in walking distance for dinner every night. Being in La fortuna for several days worked well so we didn’t have to combine too many activities in one day and could enjoy the pool in the afternoon.

Marco is an excellent host. He greeted us at check in and fully explained how everything worked. He had fresh fruits, snacks, coffee, and drinks in the refrigerator for us on arrival. The indoor/outdoor living concept is spectacular. The pool was perfectly warm and refreshing- we used it daily. The bedrooms are comfortable and closed with AC. We felt very safe the entire visit. Marco has really thought of everything to make a trip to La Fortuna very special. We could walk 1-2 blocks to eat or shop. We did have a driver, but honestly because of the location and tours having pick up options, we really didn’t need daily transportation. Casa Aloma added so much to our trip to La Fortuna. I highly recommend this home and would stay there again! Thank you Marco for an unforgettable trip. :)

This is a very unique rental unit! I am so glad that we had this experience :) The open floor plan and outdoor living is a lot of fun. We were 8 people in total with extended family and everyone was very comfortable. Marco was a great host. He greeted us for check-in and gave an overview. There were drinks, fruits and snacks waiting for us. He also gave some restaurant suggestions. We liked Soda La Hormiga for local food. The house was perfectly clean. Marco heated the pool for us since we like warm water. The kids had a blast after the days of exploring. The house is literally in the downtown. You can get to most restaurants and shops with a 5 min walk. Yet, once you close the doors, you are in your own world. La Fortuna area has so many things to do. We did a lot of tours and activities. Eco glide zipline was everyone’s favorite. North Fields coffee tour is a great experience if you like coffee and chocolate. River floating was a lot of fun. Try jumping to the river with the rope in El Salto if you are adventurous. Before booking I was a bit hesitant because the pool area looked too concrete, not very cozy. But Marco actually added a lot more plants and it looks even better than the pictures now. One thing to keep in mind is that this house has a lot of open spaces and it is in the tropics. So you will see some bugs. Was not a big issue for us. I hope we can visit Cost Rica again one day and stay in Casa Aloma again.
