We had a fantastic stay at this home in Destin! The property was just as described on the VRBO listing—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It’s just a short walk to both the pool and the beach, and conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and everything else we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of towels provided for all the bathrooms, which we really appreciated.A couple of small suggestions: it might be time to check or replace the water filter in the refrigerator, and the pool didn’t seem to be fully operational during our stay—the pump wasn’t running on any of our visits, and the water felt a bit stagnant. It may need a little attention.Overall, though, we truly enjoyed our time here. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us—it really felt like a slice of paradise!

Wow This is our second year at this lovely home in Destin. Very clean and comfortable. Community pool very close. Appreciate the beach stuff provided. Few blocks to beach through a quiet residential area. The beds are the most comfortable we have ever had in a rental. Nice large bedrooms - one with a small deck and one with an adorable reading area. We love this home and will definitely return. Perfect Stay in Paradise.

This is the PERFECT vacation home in the Destin area. We had the best vacation ever, from the little extras (high -end shampoo, etc. in bathrooms and the provided towels and linens). Casa Al Mar is nestled in a quiet residential community only a few blocks from the famous Destin white sand beaches. Casa Al Mar is spacious, super clean and functional -- elegant with a beachy vibe. We had six adults and this home was more than perfect for us. We enjoyed gathering on the front wrap-around porch in the mornings for coffee, and in the evenings in the central living room with a large tv and reclining sofas. Of course, our days were spent either at the beach or at the property's community pool, while grilling out. The kitchen is roomy and well stocked with every appliance you would need. It was very convenient to have a very large washer and dryer right off the kitchen. We plan on returning next year for possibly two weeks. Much appreciation to Casa Al Mar, Sowal Properties and the owners for making our vacation extra special!

Property as expected, clean and cozy. Short few blocks off the beach. Games for kids , TV for everybody but beach kept us out . Water beautiful. Busy town but nice. We did Crab Island by boat one day and was enjoyable. Property management excellent. They communicated well and everything was just simple.

If you are looking for a family friendly home away from the hustle and bustle of most rental areas in Destin this is it! This beautiful home sits on the south end of a lovely Victorian neighborhood just 2 1/2 blocks from the white sand beach. We rented a golf cart and loved driving to the beach access and to several beachfront restaurants and parks. We also drove to The Destin Commons with its theater, shops, bowling alley and many excellent restaurants. A Brusters Ice Cream shop is also a 2 minute ride away or pleasant walk. You really do not ever need to use your car while staying here. The home was meticulous and tastefully decorated with spacious bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and a sweet wrap around porch for chilling after a day at the beach. The pool is extremely close and had grills which we used for a pool picnic. Joey with SOWAL was available to answer some check in questions and we appreciated his prompt and courteous service. We will DEFINITELY rent this home again and look forward to making more memories in Destin!

We rented this beautiful house for 2 weeks with our 3 children and we must say it will remain one of the most memorable vacations ever. The house was spacious, each bedroom neatly decorated, large and comfortable; the house is fully equipped with everything you need to spend a great time, no need to worry for anything. Besides, the location, 5 mn walk from a gorgeous sand beach and 5 mn drive from the stores, is just perfect. Special thanks to Sowal for such an amazing welcome and friendly and diligent replies to our questions everytime we needed. We are looking forward to visiting Destin again and no doubt, will turn to Sowal again.

We received a warning ticket about parking on sidewalk our last day. We couldn’t use the garage so we squeezed in without parking on the grass. We squeezed in but still had to park, partially, on the sidewalk. It said on Vrbo there was room enough for 4 vehicles. We had 2 avg. size trucks. Neighborhood wasn’t neighborly.
