Canyonside Retreat - Park-like setting, Panoramic Views with Hot tub & Firepit!!

Beautiful home and views (see pics taken from the deck). The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, seasonings and some condiments. It’s a large property, quiet, and private. Very accommodating to guests. We’d love to stay again!

This is a beautiful property with stunning views, and a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Jamie, the host, is exceptional. Thorough with directions for checking in/out and very quick to respond to any questions. She had a notebook with information that was so helpful and there were also local brochures on things to see in the area. The home is beautifully decorated but still comfortable. It's a great arrangement with bedrooms upstairs and living space on the walk in level. Mornings were phenomenal with coffee on the porch and evenings featured an unbelievable sunset over the canyon. The goody basket and coffee were also superb and greatly appreciated.The kitchen was the most well equipped of any VRBOs we've stayed in. Everything you need for preparing meals and in excellent condition. There were so many outdoor features we didn't use. If we ever return to the area, this would be our go to place.

This home was fabulous! Beyond more beautiful than what the pictures show. The entire property and home are well cared for. My husband said it was the best nights sleep he has ever gotten at a VRBO. We loved the view of snake River but I really loved the view of the rolling green grass. The home was very clean and we enjoyed waking up each morning to the views. Walking the property was fun in itself. The host, Jamie, is also the best host we have ever had. She answers her phone when we had a question. I appreciated the welcome basket, coffee bar, and all the things supplied that we needed for the stay. . We stayed 5 nights and it was wonderful! When we are this way again - we will defiantly be back. :)

We booked this as a retreat after our daughter was born. She ended up being admitted into the NICU which was very scary and caused a delay n our end. We missed 3 of the 6 days we booked. I alerted the host well before our check in date and asked for a credit for the unused days for a future booking at the house. Sadly, the owner denied our request. That doesn’t feel very kind considering our unforeseen medical condition. But clearly this is a business and that’s what guided the decision. The hosts were lovely and super helpful and thoughtful. The view was beautiful. The house was very cute. The washer/dryer desperately needs to be replaced. The hot tub was wonderful but if any debris gets in it from our feet it shuts down and goes into protection mode. The hosts would fix it very quickly which was great but may be time for an upgrade. Overall was a great experience but very disappointing that they denied our request of re-renting the house in the future with a credit for days. Ultimately, for that reason, I would not rent again.

The whole place was very welcoming and beautiful! We had the best little getaway. Host was quick to respond and all the instructions were very clear. The place is cozy and all of the amenities worked perfectly for us! We’ll definitely be coming back!

Jamie was an amazing host! She left an amazing welcome basket of treats, attended to all my questions and needs in a timely fashion, and was super accommodating and attentive. She helped make our experience in Idaho an amazing one! The property itself was fantastic - super spacious, clean, and had a phenomenal view of the Snake River canyon.

I don’t know if there is an adequate way to fully describe this property and the amazing visit we had. From Jamie being an absolute rockstar to remarkable views to unbelievable accommodations...I could go on and on. Jamie is incredible and goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. The house is incredibly beautiful and the hot tub a plus! But the views were the absolute best from every window and the hot tub, too! I can't speak highly enough of either the property or Jamie. I would recommend this house to everyone!

This home was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed our coffee in the hot tub overlooking the incredible scenery. The wrap around deck was great for spending time outside too, the huge yard had so many places to explore. The home had everything you could have needed and more. This host knows what she is doing to make her guests feel at home!

Best VRBO ever.

Jaime's home is out of this world!! We kept asking ourself why they rent it out because we did not want to leave!! It is a stunning home on a quiet countryside piece of property. It is the perfect location to go visit and explore both Twin Falls and surrounding areas in Buhl. We used the hot tub daily, and it was a great way to relax after rafting, hiking, and zip-lining. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary with some friends, and we cannot wait to take our kids back to this property!! Thank you so much for opening your home to us. It was spectacular!!!

Absolutely amazing property and experience!

This was a beautiful and comfortable house to relax in between seeing all the sights. And the views were awesome.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the house just outside Twin Falls with the large deck overlooking the gorge/waterfall. On the deck we viewed quail, magpies, rabbits, squirrel, and a great horned owl and one night, a porcupine walked through the yard. The houses along the driveway are spread out, so there is a sense of privacy on the property. Renters should be aware that property is surrounded by farms, which we loved, but others might find pungent and noisy, and hatchery across river is bright at p.m. The house was comfortable with fun decor, good towels, well stocked kitchen, and very clean but could have used bedside lamps/endtables, dining chairs (not stools) and bath towel hooks, and some niceties like a laundry basket and suitcase racks. During the heat wave we appreciated the AC. We recommend a new showerhead in the regular bath and new handle in the master bath shower, screens in more windows and repairs to window handles, relocation of the microwave from pantry to a kitchen counter, and more drinking glasses. The laundry center was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip. The property was just thirty minutes or less from Twin Falls bridge/waterfalls/Balanced Rock, and just down the road from the yummy Cloverleaf Creamery. The property made a great home base for a day trip to Craters of the Moon. The owner msg'd us at check in to make sure we were settling in. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend the Canyonside Retreat to all.

Uniquely decorated home with beautiful views. Located in the country where you can enjoy the peace and quiet.

We enjoyed a week away with a couple friends. Good location for a relaxing vacation outside of the city.

The best house! Beautiful, clean, well stocked house with the most gorgeous landscaping and views of the Snake River Canyon. Highly recommend. We sat on the patio watching the sunset every night. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Pictures don’t do it justice. Amazing place with every detail covered. The owner/manager was one of the best that we have ever rented from. Really wish we didn’t have to leave such a beautiful place.

What a beautiful home with a fantastic view! We really enjoyed the home and surroundings, but also managed to take in alot of local sights: Balanced Rock, Shoshone Falls, Mammoth Cave, Ice Cave, Box Canyon, Niagra & Crystal Springs, Ketchum & the July 4th parade in Buhl! Dave even did a tandem BASE jump off the Perrine Bridge (with the best - Sean Chuma)! We really enjoyed exploring the property, watching the raptors, sitting in the hot tub & watching the fabulous sunsets! Thanks for sharing this beautiful place!Carol & DavePlano, Tx

This property is gorgeous with every detailed accounted for!! Spectacular views of the canyon with sounds of the Niagara Springs across the way. A wonderful hostess and host that went out of their way to make you feel special! It was wonderful to watch the sun rise in the hot tub before exploring the beautiful surrounding areas! Thank you for giving my family a place they did not want to leave!

The view and the house are spectacular. Our hosts went above expectations to ensure our stay would be memorable! Such attention to details in the home and pavilion made it even more enjoyable. The view! If possible it’s even better in person than the pictures. The property gives you an amazing view to the canyon for both amazing sunrise and sunsets. Seeing the Niagara springs from the porch will never be forgotten.

Fabulous house for our weekend in Buhl.

This place is even more stunning than the pics. Everything about this place was absolutely perfect. Gorgeous views, beautiful property, incredible home. This place is absolutely beautiful. Spacious. Everything you could ever need regardless of your length of stay. I will definitely come back!!! And Jamie is the sweetest host I’ve ever had…and I stay in LOTS OF RENTALS. Thank you so much!!

Very clean and neat. Views beyond imagination. They had frozen cookies in the freezer for our stay. They baked up and were gone quickly.

The property was completely breathtaking and the hosts were wonderful. Complete 100% recommendation if you are staying in the area.

The only issue I had was that I wanted to stay longer but I couldnt. I would love to come back here. Everything was just wonderful. I can't say enough about how clean this home is, which is a big deal for me. Jamie is very responsive host and a very gifted hostess. She will make you feel like a million bucks. I know, I felt super spoiled by her. Don't hesitate to book this home. I spent most of my time in the hot tub and watching the wild life. And drinking coffee on the balcony overlooking the beautiful scenery!

Was the perfect spot to have a get away weekend.

A terrific home directly on the promontory facing the gorgeous snake river canyon but it doesn't stop there, home is magnificently furnished, large kitchen with everything you need, open air hot tub with views as far as the eye can see, wonderful bedding, massive smart tv, small office, gas fireplace, and views that border or sensational. Extremely clean, large plot with even more views, and other features to enjoy during all seasons of the year. Nearby Buhl has stores, etc. for your convenience but you won't want to leave the home given the tranquility it presents. Loved it. Jamie is a terrific host, prompt in her communication and left us very nice and thoughtful welcome amenities. We had 3 inches of delightful snow one day which was also gorgeous, no driving issues, steep hills etc. As high as a recommendation I could ever give. Enjoy!

We loved our stay and the host made it extra special by putting up a tree for us to celebrate Christmas.

Usually we are go, go, go on trips but the view and house made it to where we didn't want to leave. Sitting on the porch each morning and night with the amazing view while listening to the spring across the way and cows mooing in the distance really was the highlight of our trip.
