Can't beat homey ski retreat adjacent to Afton Alps and scenic Afton State Park.

Property was as pictured. Very nice size, clean and loved the special touches (coffee, popcorn, etc). Location was excellent as we came to ski and Afton Alps is literally across the street. Only reason for less than 5 stars on communication was that I didn’t receive a check in email which delayed our ability to check in. We were able to communicate with VRBO to get check in info and host followed up shortly after.

This was our third time staying at this property. It’s a great property and the location adjacent to the ski area makes it all the better.The host sets up the property with very nice features and amenities. She does an outstanding job informing you of the arrival information, etc. I highly recommend this property.

Great location for Afton and wonderful space for families!

The location is excellent for close proximity to Afton Alps. We had plenty of space for our group of 8 and enjoyed making breakfast together each morning.

Communication with the host was easy through the VRBO message system. The house was very nicely decorated and felt homey from the start. It made for a very nice ski base for my kids and I visiting Afton Alps. Woyld definitely stay here again and also recommend it to others.

Terrific place to stay for skiing at Afton Alps! Our family of five spent three nights here and skied a couple days. Lots of space, very clean and comfortable, and so close to the slopes. Highly recommend.

This VRBO is one of the best weve ever stayed at and we stay alot. The house was spotless, warm, and large enough for 20 people for Christmas dinner. Plenty of room, VERYcomfortable and our hostwas amazing in her responses to our questions.

The space was very cozy and user friendly! All instructions were clear and the space was well equipped and well maintained. Definitely recommend and I will keep this in mind for future gatherings.

The house was very warm and inviting providing everything we needed. We all agreed this rental was the BEST rental we’ve ever had. Plenty of room for us all allowing for plenty of privacy as well. It truly was home away from home for our group. Amy was very accommodating and available to answer all questions. The beds were super comfortable. First time in years I woke up without a backache. We all enjoyed it so much and felt refreshed. Hoping to come back next year and do it again. We will plan our trip around the availability of this rental. It was perfect for us.

No skiing this trip as early spring thaw closed Afton Alps. Family agrees that the spacious well equipped home would be great for skiing another time. We liked the proximity to Stillwater, Hudson & Hastings. Check out Selma’s in Afton for the best Ice cream.

Great location if you plan to ski. The living areas are bigger than they look in the photos. Lots of room to gather or play games. I give our host five stars. We visited at the end of the ski season and she sent us a message that the resort would be closed on the last day of our stay. We were thankful not to find that out at the last minute.

The house was wonderfully and thoughtfully setup for our stay. Had everything we needed to make our trip comfortable. Very close to the ski resort making it easy to come in and out throughout the day. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this property last year. It is an outstanding property and has a well appointed kitchen and other nice amenities.The host is very responsive to communications, and ensures the property is exactly as depicted in the listing. There is an attached garage that guests are allowed to use. The ski area is just across the road. The town of Hudson is a shshodt drive and has some good restaurants and bars. We had such a good week last year we booked again this year and it was every bit as good. Planning for next year already.

We have stayed at this property several years in a row and it never ceases to amaze us how perfect it is. The house has a great layout for larger families and the decor is just SO cozy! I swear I sleep better here than any where else and to arrive and be treated with everything you need for a spaghetti dinner…it’s awesome. All of that and my family can just walk across the street to ski. We will be back next year! Thanks for everything.

This property was perfect for our family to gather to celebrate Christmas and enjoy the snow. Beautifully decorated for the holidays, had all of the supplies we needed, clean, and the check-in/check-out was a breeze! Highly recommend!

Plenty of room for gathering, comfortable beds, lots of kitchen counter space. Great outdoor spaces that we didn't use because of weather.

We needed a place to stay for the weekend to spend time with friends of 50 years. This place was great. Outdoor and indoor seating was great and the host was easy to contact!

Spacious home. Very comfortable stay in August. Central air worked well. Loved the natural surroundings. Only slight negative was a bit of musty smell from the damp basement. We kept AC on and it was fine.

We were pleased to find that the house was as spacious as described, with plenty of room indoor and out for family visits. The back deck makes a lovely place to gather, and there were plenty of comfortable beds for 6 of us. Our 2 dogs were very happy to be out of the car and to have lots of room to explore. Afton State park is right there, as is the Afton Alps ski area.
