Stayed Apr 24, 2026Seven women from six states met here to see each other and Charleston.Pros: Historic home with seven comfortable beds in a beautiful city, plenty of activities and restaurants to keep us busy, responsive hosts who fixed what they could (corrected low hot water supply, brought a new toaster oven). Downstairs living room seated all of us.Cons: No dishwasher, oven, large pots, or table where we could sit together to eat, visit, plan itineraries, etc. Having to walk up and down several steps (upstairs bedroom steps have no handrail) in the night and walking through another woman’s bedroom to get to the bathroom was inconvenient for us but would have been horrible if we had brought our husbands. We had hoped we could sit together somewhere outside like a garden or patio. Upstairs porch has a table but none of us enjoyed the staircase; we couldn’t carry anything like coffee or food in one hand while the other hand clung to the curving handrail where one of the spindles is loose.

Stayed Feb 19, 2026We had a fabulous girls trip in Charleston and can’t wait to come back! The house suited our group of 7 perfectly with everyone having their own bed. The house was clean and we loved staying in an historic home. Just to know, to get to two of the bedrooms you have to walk through a bedroom. The walls and windows are thin and the houses are very close so you do hear a lot of noise. But, it was a great location, the living room made a wonderful gathering spot for talks and games and loved having a parking spot!

Stayed Jan 29, 2026Good communication and welcome. The house had enough space for all of us. It is a historic house so that comes with some quirks, but also a lot of charm!

Stayed Dec 26, 2025This is a lovely home in a great location. Communication with the property manager was easy with super-fast responses. We greatly appreciate the pet-friendly policy too. The kitchen is adequate for simple meals. Beds and furniture are comfortable. Two parking spaces are provided; additional paid garage parking is nearby, or you can find free residential neighborhood parking starting about 4-5 blocks away. Thanks for a super place for special family time!

Stayed Nov 24, 2025We rented the house to spend a few days with our families and to do some shopping and sightseeing. It was large enough that everyone either had their own bed or shared a bed. We liked the fact that paper product, personal care products and coffee supplies were all furnished. Unfortunately we had three families which meant three cars and only two spaces were provided which meant paying for a garage space. We also felt the walk to restaurants were farther than discerned. Over all we enjoyed this house.

Stayed Oct 9, 2025Location was great. It is a 10minute walk to King Street. Cute coffee shops near by. There were seven women in our group and we all hit our own bed. It’s an old house and it shows some wear.

Stayed Apr 7, 2025Great place for a group of 7 gals! Beds are comfy. Bathrooms were adequate. We did not cook at all. Kitchen is pretty small with no dishwasher. But with all the fabulous restaurants no one even wanted to cook!!! Living area with the big sofa was wonderful and sat all 7 of us comfortably. Would rent again.

Stayed Nov 26, 2024Good overall experience but definitely wish we knew more before booking. Example the listing says oven. What it should say is toaster oven (esp for those of us staying over Thanksgiving who thought we might cook something). We also wish it would have been noted that the guests staying in the rooms with two queen beds had to walk through the bedrooms with single queen beds to come and go, and both of those rooms shared the bathroom in the one queen bed room. A little awkward when there’s 3 adult families sharing this property. And not to mention on the second floor there’s no door separating those two bedrooms at all. I understand that some rental properties aren’t loaded with extras but I’ve never rented a place that didn’t have simple things like salt & pepper, or tissues. Besides the above mentioned growing pains it was a good location and smooth experience overall.

Stayed Oct 16, 2024We stayed at the property for a bachelorette trip. We chose it because of the living room and the large couch. The location was good. It’s about a 20-30 minute flat walk to the market or a short Uber ride.
