DOCKSIDE RETREAT is a 4 bedroom 3 bath canal front home that has a private pool, private dock, fish cleaning station, with a green light under the dock, two paddle boards, a kayak, four bikes, and a Tiki Hut for the ultimate Keys vacation! There are 4 parking spots for vehicles and one boat trailer (you cannot have more than one boat at this property). The kitchen and bathroom are well-stocked with everything you need and there's a neighborhood beach just down the street! Located at mile marker 55, in the heart of Marathon, Dockside Retreat is your perfect vacation spot!

There are lights inside the Tiki Hut so you can enjoy the space in the evening as well! There is a green light under the water at the dock. The house also has a pack n play, mattress, baby sheets, baby gate, high chair and booster seat! We provide hand soap, bath bar soap, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, stain remover, bleach, kitchen sponge/scrubby, trash bags, TP, PT, basic kitchen/bath cleaner bath, pool/beach towels and all bed linens. We also provide two propane tanks for the grill.

This is a vacation rental and the entire home (half the duplex) and property are for the exclusive use of the guests. This property is unit 2. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 baths on each side. Each side has it's own pool/parking. We have a pin pad on the door and the code will be provided shortly before your arrival. The entire Unit 2, the pool, half the dock (no charge), and parking (4 spots) are available for the guest. The dock accommodates a 35 foot boat max. Each unit has one side of the dock for its private use. There is covered parking for two vehicles and additional parking for more cars and/or a boat trailer. There are 4 spots total -so 3 cars and one trailer max, or 4 cars. You cannot have two boats at this property.

As the property manager, I am available throughout your stay for any questions, needs, or recommendations. You will be able to call or text me directly, day and evening, 7 days a week! If I am needed at the property, I will certainly make myself available any time!

Angler's at Sombrero is a newer development on Sombrero Beach Road, just down the street from Sombrero Beach - a beautiful oceanfront beach! Sandy beaches are not common in the Keys, so it a real asset to have an oceanfront sandy beach just down the street! There is a sidewalk all along Sombrero Beach Road where you can bike, exercise, or walk to the beach! About two minutes from the grocery store (Publix and Winn Dixie), a minute or so from the beach, and less than 10 minutes from any of the amazing restaurants and activities in Marathon, the location is perfectly centrally located! Only an hour from Key West and about 20 minutes from Bahia Honda State Park, you can easily make day trips!

We recommend that you have a car during your stay in the Keys.

We provide TP, PT, hand, dish soap, bath bar soap, laundry pods, laundry detergent, trash bags, basic kitchen/bath cleaner, dishwasher detergent that should be enough to last a week. We also provide all the bed linens, baths, and pool/beach towels and two propane tanks.

It is mandatory that the guest manage their trash throughout their stay. A Pineapple Properties team member will take the cans to the street for pick up on trash days and also return them to the spot where they belong. You just need to ensure your trash is taken to the cans and does not pile up during your stay.

We do ask that you clean the grill to the best of your ability before you leave. Do you not use charcoal in the grill as it is a gas grill.

$45 Management Fee is Damage Insurance covering up to 3k in damages.

The pool can be heated or chilled for a fee of $ 125 per 7 days, plus tax and credit card fees as applicable. Prorated for longer stay.

    The house, pool & tiki hut were perfect for relaxing. The location was great, close to Sombrero Beach, stores & restaurants. Meredith our host was very helpful & accommodating. We would definitely rent this property again!

    Fantastic property, located close to the beach, shopping, and other attractions. The house was clean and well-supplied with thoughtful items for a great vacation (beach chairs, pool toys, bait freezer, filet table, kayaks, bikes, paddle boards, etc. Would definitely rent again and highly recommend for a family getaway. Pinnaple property management communicated well and resolved a few very minor issues right away. Cons: couch and rug are getting tired and need to be replaced soon, a few loose chairs at the kitchen table.

    This house was perfect for my family of 7. So much to do, clean and spacious, great location. The outside pool area is fantastic. So many amenities. Everything is up to date and modern. Basic essentials are provided, dish soap, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Smelled clean, no dirty areas. Perfect.

    We had a wonderful time! Property was perfect for our group. Dock and pool were just right and so fun for boating and fishing! Kitchen was good for cooking. Could use some condiments and basics- salt and pepper, olive oil, garlic. But plenty of pots/dishes. Beds and baths were great. Location was ideal! Manager was very responsive.

    We enjoyed biking almost every day along with kayaking almost every day when it wasn't raining or windy. We also really enjoyed the lighted sidewalks for evening walks to the beach. Paying the extra for the pool heat was well worth it as our weather was not the warmest but still a wonderful week in the keys. The little things like having toilet paper, dishwashing soap, dish soap and soap for every bathroom really is a wonderful touch as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Marathon. We also enjoyed the beach chairs, toys and the stand up paddle boards as well. The pans for cooking were also excellent. Thanks again.

    Loved this place! Came down for a holiday getaway with the family and was perfect for all of us. Unit was well equipped with kayaks, bicycles and all of the water toys for us to not to have to bring a lot of extra with us (perfect for flying in as we did) and since we rented a boat for the week, it made it easy to go out fishing and diving but just jumping on a going. Also, Kitchen had everything we needed, and the heated pool was perfect for the granddaughter! Merideth and the Pineapple Properties team were a pleasure to deal with as well. Overall, couldn't have asked for more!
