We really enjoyed the location of this property. The beach is only a short walk away; however, it's worth noting that access requires navigating a significant number of stairs both down to and back up from the beach, which may be difficult for some guests.Unfortunately, we experienced a large number of bugs and frogs inside the house during our stay. As Florida residents, we understand that this can happen, but the amount we encountered seemed excessive.We also noticed several cleanliness issues throughout the property. There appeared to be animal vomit on the floor, stains on the cabinets, and mold in both the washing machine and the shower.Additionally, one of the bedrooms had an unpleasant odor. Fortunately, we only needed two bedrooms, so we simply kept that room closed and did not use it.Overall, due to these issues, we would not choose to stay at this particular property again. However, we would consider renting another property within the plantation, as we did enjoy the location and surrounding area

We loved our rental, Came & Stayed. It was in a perfect, quiet location. The walk to the beach was easy for my family since we had older kids. It was fully stocked with everything needed even detergents for kitchen and laundry, except games, but we brought our own just to be safe. We felt 100% safe all week at all times. We look forward to coming back and staying again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Visited SGI and stayed here for a week. Our group consisted of 4 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs. The property was the perfect size for our group. The location is very quiet and a 5-10 min walk to the beach on a nice nature trail. The property is well equipped and clean with parking underneath the house. Pictures of the house are accurate. Check-in was easy. Nice amenities in the plantation including two pools, fitness center, tennis and pickle ball courts. There is a long flight of stairs up to the main entry so be aware of stairs are a challenge to anyone in your group. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really appreciated being able to check in about 30 minutes early. For weary travelers it was most welcome. First impression, realtor lock hanging on the door. We were not aware it was for sale. Second impression, a dead roach laying on the bed. (Yes, I know it is Florida, but perhaps a quick check the day of rental when the house has stood empty)This is the first rental with zero games. I think we found one singular puzzle. Furniture was sparse. Table is only for four people. The deck has two chairs. Not sure where the other guests should sit.The kitchen made zero sense to us.we put all of our food items on the counter since there was no cabinet space at all. They had baskets on a shelf where the laundry/ dryer were located but did not feel comfortable placing food in baskets. The dryer made a horrendous noise. Sounds like the belt is about to go. The fan in the bedroom and main room also made noise. The fan in the living room area was not adequate for the space. The path to beach was nice, but guests should be aware of the steps UP going to the beach. The bathrooms were tiny and no bathroom fans because they each had a window. The stairs on the outside had algae and made them slippery when it rained. We have stayed in numerous houses in The Plantation and this one did not make our “returning” list.We usually rent a 3 bedroom for 6 of us, but with only 4 this time, we felt cramped. The one area that was enjoyable was the sandy area outside in the shade with chairs and a hammock. Great place to hang out when it is hot!

It is one of our favorite beaches. Our three generational family enjoyed our holiday stay very much. We enjoy the laidback atmosphere so we can focus on the important things like building sandcastles and finding seashells. The property offered plenty of room and suited our need for privacy perfectly. The amenities at our disposal were top notch. We were very pleased with the professional and friendly service provided by the management company. We are looking forward to returning to St George Island.
