Had a wonderful time . Camden is always beautiful and the surrounding towns. Was great to have the view off the deck and hang out there most evenings. Nice to be so close to all the shops and restaurants. Even parking was not that bad to find for longer term. Nice place, only negatives, the front bedroom , noisy with all the traffic even at night and the shower was small and bathroom. Need to have shelfing in both bathrooms to put toiletries' in. And the furniture on the deck needed to be cleaned. Really would not use the stove very small so ate out 90% of the time. Perfect for two people but if four would have been two crowed. Not a big living room /kitchen area. Over all was wonderful relaxing trip. Sad had to leave early because of a family health issue. Would recommend if want to be in the center of everything. Host was very attentive to issues.

Great location. Quite a bit of loud traffic noise in front bedroom all night making it very challenging for sleep. Unit could use a very complete cleaning. Found evidence of mold/dirt in AC exhaust vent. Not much countertop or cupboard space at all for dry food storage. Wonderful downtown location for all restaurants and shopping, and for day trips up and down the coast. Parked right in front of unit most every day and night.

The location, with easy access to everything in town and a great view of the harbor, is hard to beat. However, the apartment itself had many issues, some minor and others more substantial. Upon entry, the apartment seemed to have a good layout and be in reasonable shape, however, with a few days there, issues became apparent. • Several of the four wood chairs for the dining area had broken or loose leg supports preventing their use. • The fabric shower curtain in the street side bedroom was was badly discolored/ mildewed. • The hot water was scalding and poses a real threat if used by children and should be adjusted to a lower temperature. • The furniture and grill on the deck are beyond useable due to extensive mildewing, rust, and one chair’s suspension partly broken. They all need to be replaced. Fortunately, we had camp chairs with us and used only them. • The back deck and railings are covered in mildew, fungus and dirt as is the flooring and need to be power washed. Additionally there were many minor issues. Looking several years back at the reviews it appears a number of the issues identified above have existed for a while. For location and view the Loft should rate highly. However, the condition of the deck and the furniture on it is inexcusable given that the view from the deck is one of the main selling points of the unit. Further, the overall condition of the apartment is a major detraction.

The Harborfront Loft is the perfect location for anyone who values walkability. Parks, trails, restaurants, stores, groceries, liquors, and cruises on the Appledore II are just steps away. The Loft itself is comfortable, and the deck provides great views of the harbor and the adjacent park.

Prefect apt location to enjoy town without moving your car. Camden has excellent restaurants all just a short walk. For those traveling with a dog there’s plenty of open space to walk just a few feet from the apt front door.

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) had an amazing stay at the Camden Harborfront Loft over 4th of July week. The location in downtown Camden is perfect for shopping, resturants and harbor excursions. It was also central for day trips up and down the coast. The loft itself was perfect for our family and the deck overlooking the harbor made for an epic viewing of fireworks over the harbor. We thoroughly enjoyed the harbor and waterfall view, not to mention soothing sound of rushing water. The space itself was appointed as stated in the listing and adequate. I highly recommend the Camden Harborfront Loft.

The apartment was neat and clean when we arrived. It is located right next to a lovely park, where we could walk our dog every day. Great views of the harbor. Close to shops and restaurants. Parking was occasionally a problem, but not too difficult. Since it's right on the main street, traffic could be noisy, but didn't seem to bother us much.

The Harborfront Loft is all about location, location. The loft is equipped with beautiful décor including stunning view of the Camden Harbor from the back deck – perfect for morning coffee! Really makes you feel at home!! Perfectly located in downtown Camden. The loft offers short walks to everything Camden’s oceanfront town has to offer! Chris was great and helped with any questions we had and offered direction with his recommendations for food, local attractions, etc. House has been maintained well and the cleaners did a great job! We couldn’t have asked for a better MidCoast getaway and look forward to coming back next year!!!

This property is way over priced. You can go a block away and stay for half the price. You may give up a harbor view but you also give up the view of the roof tops of many of the commercial businesses in downtown Camden. The street noise from the vehicular traffic particularly the tractor trailer rigs is not pleasant.. The front door had a pretty bad sticking problem that you had to bump hard with your hip to get into the steep stairwell. I was concerned about the access code on the security lock. Not sure if it was changed from one guest to the next. It was an electro mechanical lock that has to be manually changed. Also, the glass sliding door going onto the deck, the lock was not working. The dryer had a damp bed spread in it and the washer had a bed spread and bed linens in it that that had not been washed. My wife completed these task, folded and placed on top of the bed in the street side bedroom. WE purchased washing pods to wash the towels we used per the Rules for guest. There were no coffee filters for the Hamilton Beach coffee maker. We purchased the correct cone shaped filters for the coffee maker. I will not stay at the Camden Harbor Loft again. The overall rating of three stars is generous. South Carolina Guest
