Welcome to Maine Squeeze!
This newly decorated cottage is located in the charming coastal village of Camden, Maine. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs. Downstairs is a comfortable living room with television, a large, fully equipped kitchen with dining area, perfect for a home-cooked meal or steamed lobster from the local gourmet market; and a cheerful bedroom and full bath. The landscaped backyard includes a spacious deck for relaxing or dining al fresco, equipped with a gas grill for your use. House comes complete with all amenities.
Downtown Camden and its picturesque harbor are less than an easy 5-minute stroll away, and rivers and lakes abound in the area. Some of our favorite nearby activities include:
•Drinking hot buttered rum or a Maine microbrew by the fire at The Waterfront, a cozy harborside restaurant downtown.
•Kayaking alongside loons on pristine Megunticook Lake, then picnicking at Fernald's Neck, an interior lake peninsula that's well-suited for parking kayaks and sunbathing on big, flat boulders. (Inexpensive kayak rentals and delivery are available from Duck Trap Kayaks at short notice.)
•Hiking up Mount Battie, the small mountain that overlooks Camden Village and provides a postcard-perfect view of Penobscot Bay's many islands.
•Visiting one of many annual festivals and fairs: Christmas by the Sea (December), the National Tobaggan Championships (February), and a variety of crafts fairs in Camden; the Maine Lobster Festival in Rockland (August); the Common Ground Fair in Unity (September); Arts in the Park in Belfast (18 mi.); and the Union State Fair and Maine Wild Blueberry Festival in Union (13 mi.).
Our central, Mid-Coast location is an excellent jumping-off point for exploring the rest of Maine's rugged, rocky coast! Some of our favorite attractions include:
•Freeport - Visit famous LL. Bean and many, many outlet stores: 67 miles (one hour and forty minutes).
•Kennebunkport: home of George and Barbara Bush, 110 miles (two and a half hours).
•Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park: 76 miles (two hours).
•Kittery - Shopping Outlets: 130 miles (two hours and forty minutes).
•Portland - Maine's Largest City: 81 miles (two hours).
•Boston, Massachusetts: 190 miles (three and a half to four hours).
•Pemaquid Point: beautiful lighthouse (one and a half hours)
Whether you're looking to sea kayak along the rugged coast or fine-dine in one of Camden's many excellent restaurants, our home provides a convenient and comfortable base for experiencing what is arguably Maine's most beautiful town. We invite you to relax in our cottage and make memories with your family and friends that will last a lifetime.

The house was well equipped but needed a few new knives and extra trash liners for the kitchen trash cans. Also, the internet was a bit slower than what I am used to. Finally, there was a bit of a musty odor. A cute house though.
The house was immaculate. Everything was supplied for an extended stay. The fenced in yard was perfect. Very convenient walking distance to downtown and the Mt Battie trail. So many things to do with a short drive. Overall a wonderful Maine experience.
Great location, very comfortable and a w we ll loved property
A wonderful cozy cottage feel we had staying in this comfortable home, just a few blocks from the center of the heart of Camden and the harbor. This beautiful little village has been our go-to-place for 50 years, and staying here was the frosting on the cake for this trip. The owner was very helpful in answering questions and also providing for all our needs in her home. We will definitely consider staying here on future trips to Maine.
There’s not a cuter New England cottage than this one! Absolutely adorable on the outside and inside. Cozy and comfortable. We loved the house, and it’s location in Camden!
I am technically challenged so and it was fairly easy to navigate. On still prefer a phone call and a person. But it worked out good.
Very clean, homey. Extremely well stocked, bath towels, sheets, pillows. Back yard had a nice patio/deck with comfortable furniture. A gas grill was available if needed. A/C worked great and ceiling fans were helpful to keep us cool during a hot/humid week. Showers were decent. It was great having a dishwasher and washer/dryer at your disposal. Driveway was enough for 2 cars. TV sets and cable worked fine. Kitchen was well supplied and plenty of glassware and utensils. We brought our own beach chairs and beach towels for the lakes and harbor beaches which were superb. You are very close to town so that you can walk if you like. Mt. Battie trail head is 0.3 miles so the location is very convenient. Sara (the owner) is very responsive and was very helpful during our stay. I highly recommend Maine Squeeze as your base in Camden.
This cozy cottage is kept in great condition and is a perfect get away. The location is great for walking to the center of town and also within walking distance of the farmers market. The garden was the perfect setting for relaxation and reading a good book. Sara is a great host and extremely attentive. We would highly recommend Maine Squeeze.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is so cute, with thoughtful decorating touches. The kitchen is completely equipped for vacationers and cooks alike.
Sara is great to work with. The flower gardens add a welcoming touch. The location is great; easy walk to the harbor and shopping area.
