Cabin Fever - Hot Tub - Game Room - Dog Friendly

Great family place to stay!

The hot tub was great! The location was beautiful. We all enjoyed the layout of the cabin. It was a perfect location to town. The driveway is a little tricky. One side slopes down and there is a drop off on the other side. It was manageable once we did it the first time but it looks tricky. Backing out onto the street is tricky because you have to do it slowly and the people around there seem to drive a bit too fast for the curves. Just be aware. We didn't have any trouble after the first time or two. The toilet downstairs was left a bit dirty. Overall the experience was great! We would stay there again.

There were a few things that need repair. Most of all the kitchen chairs had nails poking out of the cushion part. Many of us were poked. If you go with young children or elderly the stairs to the basement area are quite challenging. A hand rail is needed.

The home was very well cleaned and supplied with all necessary essentials for a very nice stay. The driveway is the only thing preventing us from ever coming back to this home. Not easy to access when loading and unloading luggage. We had a great stay and thank you for being so kind. I never did receive any other emails until now.

The cabin would have been better for a group of immediate family, as there’s no privacy and only one bedroom had a door. The stove smoked a lot when we tried to make biscuits. Hardly any towels. Nice that the hiking options were listed. Nice new grill. The lighting wasn’t good. It was very difficult to see inside. Pretty sure the air hockey table didn’t work. My grandmaw was going to sleep in the downstairs bedroom, (and maybe this is our fault for not realizing-not sure if it’s listed) but she couldn’t get down the stairs and was forced to stay on the main floor, which threw all our plans off.

Location was easy to get to and only 7 mins from the wedding venue. I didn't get the check on email from VRBO, but Olivia was very responsive when I messaged her and sent me the door code. We had a bad storm at one point and a power line went down on the main road going to the house, I wasn't sure who to contact, but sent the host a message. Again Olivia was very responsive and reach out to the power company and it was taken care of quickly. Overall the stay was great. Driveway was a little tricky, but we all worked together to park, much easier to back in with a guide to get out.

The house was perfect for my family’s weekend stay. Close to everything yet secluded and private. Plenty of room to relax.

Had a good time and was a nice place

Very convenient location to downtown Dahlonega. Driveway was a little tricky to get in and out but not too bad. Loved the hot tub and the game room. Just an FYI. It is 3 stories so there are lots of stairs

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was looking for a last minute cabin close to town. That it is. The parking situation was very strange and on a dangerous curve. Also the house was very chopped up as if part of it was an after thought. I invited several of my couple friends for my anniversary trip. It was very difficult to all be in the same room together. It was very cold so we burnt a fire but really couldn’t enjoy it because there was no other entertainment upstairs. The living room with the fireplace doesn’t have a TV and the space downstairs that has a TV wouldn’t be a place that you would want to hang out. This is the first place I have ever stayed where I never turned on a TV. There was an electric fireplace downstairs in the bedroom which would have been better utilized in the TV room. The gameroom was an outdoor garage and never got over 50 degrees so basically was unusable. I could see in the summer it might be nice...winter not so much. Also the top bedroom is a loft so no privacy there. On a positive note, the cabin was clean. If you want a place to stay where everyone is separated, this is your spot.

Extremely convenient location for the frequent trips to downtown Dahlonega, Walmart, and a waterfall hike.Great wind down location for visitors with busy careers who need a slower pace for a brief amount of time.

Looking at the changing leaves from the deck on a rocking chair with a coffee in themorning coffee... what a way to start the day. The hot tub a super plus and a great game room. Super hiking nearby.itboHowfantastic.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It's a very nice property with great amenities. We played pool, ping pong, checkers, and enjoyed the hot tub. Scenic views with a cozy cabin atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mountain cabin experience. Thanks again to the property owners.

Had a wonderful time getting to spend an afternoon eating and visiting and enjoyed drinking coffee on the back porch. Very clean and quite cabin. The only issue we had was the driveway, but it is a mountain cabin. Would defiantly rent again!

The house is exactly as described! Beds were super cozy and the hot tub was ready to jump in! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Highly recommend!!! The only down side was the early check out. With the blackout curtains, we over slept and had to rush to make the 10:00 checkout. We should have opened the curtains the night before. ?

We had a great time at Cabin Fever. The game room was fun. We were close to town which was very convenient. We love the North Georgia Area and will definitely return in the future.

Enjoyed your home away from home. Such a great location and I truly enjoyed rocking on the porch with my coffee every morning! However make sure everyone in your party can do stairs as two of the rooms require you to ascend/descend steep stairs. Would recommend!
