Beautiful location and nice hosts..

Amazing stay! Great Hosts!

It was an excellent stay. The home owners were greatand very prompt in commuting with us. The property manager was totally polite and helpful. The property was wonderful. Beautiful scenery and wildlife near and on the property. Within walking distance to grocery and restaurants. We enjoyed every moment we stayed.

Beautiful, charming, clean and cozy property with all amenities in great order! Property owners Karen and Bob truly pour their hearts in what they do - they welcomed us at the cabin on our first day, showed us around and gave us great tips about the city. We can't wait to go back, thank you Karen and Rob!

We stayed in this cozy cabin for a week and hated to leave! One of four individual rental units at Prescott Hideaway- all very private with an amazing, natural common area loaded with native plants and wildlife! Every detail so thoughtfully cared for by attentive hosts. So many surprises to entertain us-we only turned the TV on once. Great WiFi, beautiful western decor and tons of great books about the area. We’ve stayed in private rentals all over the world and have never walked into such a clean comfortable space. What a gem!

Essentially, what you see in the photos is what you get. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. One point, I wouldn't recommend it for more than 2 adults. I say this since it states that it sleeps 3. (Perhaps if it is a child under 10.) If you are needing larger accommodations, they have two 2 bedroom units on the property and children would have plenty of space to play. We definitely will stay there on any return trips to Prescott. BTW, we went for the annual Rodeo, which was great!

Staying here was so much better than a hotel. We cant wait to come back.

This property has everything you might need and the owners were very lovely and responded very quickly by text to any inquiry. Loved the outdoor seating, the bed, the coffee supplied and the fire stove! Nice location to town and also to nearby lakes.

Very peaceful cabin, close to town amenities, but a great in the wilderness feel.....fantastic stay if you want a relaxing cabin to getaway in....all of the added extras as well, tv stereo, microwave full kitchen....we'll be back for sure. AFTER we tell all of our friends

We loved this cozy cabin. It was tucked away from the hubbub of Prescott, yet close in to restaurants, groceries and local attractions. The surrounding natural habitat was calming with lots of activity from the hummingbirds and other birds, lizards & rabbits (much to our dog's delight). The bed was very comfy, but it was a tad lofty. The owners did supply both sides with a foot stool and that worked well...Yes, we are never too old to learn new tricks. The quarters were snug and did not include a dishwasher (to the dismay of my husband!), so we would likely rent any of the other hideaway gems on any return visit. We would love visit the congenial and helpful hosts once again. This unit is perfect for a couple getaways. Caution, watch carefully when first arriving not to miss the driveway...it comes very fast! Thank you Dave & Karen, we do hope our paths will cross once again.

Very friendly, checked us into the cabin in person and walked us through everything. Even left a small wedding present for us! Very thoughtful.

Dave and Karen win the prize for best hosts ever. Their cabin is charming & quiet, with only the birds to break the peaceful silence. The place exceeded my expectations and Dave and Karen are wonderful hosts. I would definitely return to one of their properties.

The Cabin has a peaceful relaxing vibe and the decor reminds me of days gone by. It’s not just a bed to sleep in, although the bed is comfy, but like a small home with all the amenities. The landscaping all around is inviting, you can bask in the sun on a lounge chair or sit at a shaded patio table while sipping a cup of tea with a good book in hand while humming birds come to feed. I highly recommend this place:)

The cabin was cosy and very comfortable. The host welcomed us and provided all the information we needed for our visit.

It’s always risky when you rent a place sight unseen, but this cabin is something unique and special. I was not disappointed. It is rustic but comfortable and has every convenience you could want. Great for a single or a couple. Dave and Karen are excellent hosts and great communicators. Enjoy!

The hosts were wonderful! Dave and Karen met us at the cabin and showed us around. They were very friendly and gave suggestions for restaurants and hiking trails. We ate at four restaurants they recommended and enjoyed them all. There is a binder full of useful information that we consulted often during our stay. The cabin is charming, comfortable and had everything we needed. It is also very conveniently located. We highly recommend it.

Dave & Karen were very nice & welcoming to myself & my best friend. The property is beautiful and kept up very nicely. We had fun! The neighbor next door did keep being loud till 10/11p doing construction but that is no reflection on the owners. Will stay again

Cabin was lovely and cozy. Hosts were present during check-in and attentive. Property to close enough to town to quickly get supplies yet peaceful and quiet.

The personal attention on welcoming us was much appreciated! The attention to detail in the house was excellent. The character of the cabin added a lot to our trip and entire stay! Probably the best VRBO we have rented because of its uniqueness and owner hospitality and helpfulness!!

The hosts were amazing, met us there at the cabin and gave us a tour of the area and facilities. The court yard around it was quite beautiful, and was a quick drive in and out of town!

The hosts have thought of everything and then some. They have certainly gone above and beyond in all aspects including a well maintained cabin, thoughtfully and exceptionally stocked, providing activities and restaurants and more. The grounds are inviting and i imagine beautiful in the non winter. Quick to respond and such a pleasure. Highly recommend.

Cozy cabin, gracious hosts, expansive grounds with lot’s of little spots to relax and take in nature. Our fur babies loved romping through the leaves and chewing on sticks. We also like how close it is to downtown and hiking.

Host very friendly. so comfortable, even though it sleeps two there were comfortable seats for at least seven. We were early but they were still ready for us. Thank you Dave and Karen. Alan and Mary

Absolutely the most beautiful cabin we’ve ever stayed in. Dave, our host was extremely nice and accommodating. Loved walking around the lovely property and the cabin was so convenient to everything. Couldn’t have ask for a more perfect location. We would definitely stay here again if we go back to Prescott.

Excellent stay in this authentic log cabin. Felt very secluded and private, yet within a short drive or even a walk to the center of town and all the conveniences. Clean, very well stocked, comfortable beds, good shower. The owners Dave and Karen are very responsive. Made us feel like home. Highly recommend.

Karen and Dave were so awesome to work with. Communication was strong and they even let us check in early due to 4th of July holiday. Will absolutely stay here again.

We stayed in the log cabin. It was very nice, clean and comfortable with all of the amenities you could ever want. Our host, Dave, was very friendly and helpful with getting us settled in our cabin. We would like to go back sometime when the weather is a little cooler because there is so many outdoor things you can participate in. Overall, a good experience.

This little log cabin was just perfect for our stay of 6 days. Dave and Karen were awesome with communication even the few months before our stay. We brought our dog which was over the weight limit and Dave and Karen okayed her stay with us. Our truck is very big and had a harder time getting it in and out but we were able to make it work. Tucked into a tree secluded area across the street from the rodeo grounds, right in town. You couldn’t tell. It was peaceful and relaxing. I like horses so any noise from the rodeo was no big deal. I think they were having an auction but it was not noisy to me. The house has everything for 2 people. Rustic and charming place with outside seating, BBQ area and a small walking trail for the dogs. It really is a quaint hideaway. There are other homes on the property too but didn’t feel crowded or uncomfortable. Great place to stay!! We will be back! Dave and Karen are great hosts!

Dave and Karen have this cabin spotless and appointed with adorable furniture and decorations matching the history of this cabin. Best VRBO book to help you find attractions, restaurants, hiking trails, etc. I enjoyed sitting outside in the cool breeze having a glass of wine with my daughter and relaxing.

Warm cozy cabin. Great location. Feels secluded but only minutes from shopping and entertainment. Great host. Showed us the amenities, and made us feel welcome. Never hesitated to respond to any questions before we arrived. Looking forward to another stay.forwardanothestar

This little cabin was just what the doctor ordered during our visit to Prescott. Located near downtown and Whiskey Row, this property is convenient yet still somewhat private. Great communication with the owner, all needs were quickly met. Willdefinitelbookmagain for next visit.

I can’t rave enough about this property, the cabin is just ADORABLE! The property has been well cared for and you can tell the owners really truly care about the property and their guests. It’s the little details that mean the most- my puppies especially enjoyed their surprise gift upon their arrival! ☺️ We also appreciated all the information left in the information binder with information about the area, best local spots to eat, shop, hike and more. The cabin came well stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. The cabin is conveniently close to town but still feels miles away as it’s tucked away in its own little oasis. We felt safe, comfortable and slept really well. It was such a relaxing weekend we didn’t want to go home! Can’t wait til our next visit!! 🌲

Very Quite and comfortable we Love it!

We really enjoyed our stay in the log cabin. The cabin has been very well done and is just full of amenities that make it very convenient. Layout is great, but I'd recommend removing some of the furniture - it would be a GREAT improvement. The location is very convenient to town, etc. but it's off a busy road. The small enclave that has 3 rental properties is very nice, but road noise takes some of the beauty away from it. The hosts are fantastic and the trip was well coordinated and very easy. If this place was a bit more by itself - we wouldn't have wanted to leave! THANKS Dave & Karen!
