Stayed Oct 21, 2022We loved this little hideaway. It was the perfect jumping off point for exploring upstate South Carolina and the foothills of North Carolina. The space was very clean and had everything we needed.

Stayed Jun 5, 2026I stayed with my 6 and 4 year old and our dog to attend a wedding. Everyone was definitely grumpy after our 10 hour drive but once we got settled the girls were so excited. The stairs were a lot of fun for them because it felt like being in a tree house for them and added to the excitement. We really enjoyed our stay. The girls didn’t want to leave and I was even contemplating selling most of our things and building something perfect and simple like that lol. I loved that it could still be a garage yet with the other half being the kitchen and the above portion of it being the sleeping and entertainment space. I’m so curious the dimensions of the building and how they came up with the plans of how to set it up. The stairs/ladder were not a problem for us at all and they even have a gate that was cut and designed to fit perfectly over the base of the railings at the top of the stairs. If it was up to my girls we’d still be there but I had to get on the road as soon as possible to get the drive over with.

Stayed Dec 24, 2025Cozy converted garage was nicely finished. The space was adequite for our needs during a family visit in the area. Nice quiet area, was was great for a backyard fire in the evening. The kitchen was well equiped, and the host left a nice selection of snacks and breakfast foods. My wife and I enjoyed our stay, and would choose to stay again for future visits to the area.

Stayed Dec 11, 2025We had an amazing stay here! Jonathan was very welcoming and accommodating. The property and surrounding areas are beautiful. Everything inside was clean and functional, the fridge/cabinets were even stocked up! We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back! :)

Stayed Jul 3, 2025The host was fantastic. He understood our need for quiet and privacy. We were there over the 4th of July weekend and our host warned us of the neighbors launching fireworks. We heard little or nothing as the cabin was so well insulated!
