Buffalo Cabin -charming Alpine retreat w/ king bed

Kevin was a great host. Very friendly and gave us valuable information about the area. If you’re a snowmobile enthusiast this place is awesome. You can ride up the greys river trail from the house. The place was immaculate and stocked with great games and amazing atmosphere. 10 out of 10. Had a great time!

Kevin has thought of everything. The buffalo cabin was the best stocked rental our family has ever been in. We spent Christmas here, so lots of cooking, puzzles, game playing, and quality time in the rental. The kitchen was so well stocked for everything we needed- pots, pans, a drawer full of kitchen tools, tons of kitchen towels and hot pads. We had everything we needed. Bathrooms were also stocked beautifully- plenty of towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and body wash/bar soap. They even had a few pods of laundry detergent. We brought our little dogs and the fact that there was a fenced back yard was so wonderful. The beds were very very comfortable. The sheets and pillows felt like a 5 star hotel. We have already started planning our next trip and will absolutely stay at this wonderful property. Myself and my brothers grew up in Alpine so we got the opportunity to walk around town talking about childhood memories and hilarious stories from right outside, making for a wonderful Christmas stay. This house was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of space, plenty to do. Spending precious time with my family around the fire was priceless. Great communication with the host. If back in this area I will say here again.

We loved our 3 night stay at Buffalo Cabin. Location was in a quiet tree lined neighborhood but very close to all Star Valley has to offer. Communication was great with the owner, and he even checked in with us to make sure we had a 5 star experience, which we did!!The entry level has a comfy gathering area next to a fully equipped kitchen, and there is a laundry, full bath with tub and queen suite on lower level. We stayed in the King suite upstairs and the bed was so comfortable! The large bathroom (upper level) is steps from the king room, has a beautiful step in shower which had great water pressure and water as hot as you need it. All amenities were provided. In an adjacent space, there is also a very large wrap around comfy couch, big screen tv and bunk beds for those traveling with families. Alpine is a great spot to stay and only about an hour or so from Jackson and Tetons for a day trip. There is also plenty to do in Star Valley if you enjoy hiking, birding, wildlife watching and great food. Don’t miss Dad’s grill in Thayne! Thank you for a wonderful stay. It won’t be our last.

The Buffalo Cabin was perfect for our family. The cabin was clean and stocked with essentials and even extras that came in handy. I liked that we had cleaning supplies so that we could maintain cleanliness. The upstairs rooms had AC units which made sleeping very comfortable and that was extremely appreciated. It was nice to have shades on bedroom windows so we could sleep in a bit. We didn’t cook very much, but the kitchen appeared well-equipped for meal prep. I loved that Kevin provided coffee and filters. Sipping coffee on the front porch and watching the hummingbirds was my morning routine. The huge tv was great for late night movie viewing and my boys took full advantage. Alpine is a bit of a drive from Jackson/Tetons, but a quaint and quiet area. We would stay here again if we were back in the area. Kevin, the owner, was very responsive, helpful, and easygoing. Thanks for a great spot to rest between adventures!

We brought our adult kids and their significant others and this was a perfect spot!! Buffalo cabin had it all…. A great location for snowmobiling and winter fun. We were right next to the trailhead and parked our snowmobiles right at the door. The cabin was warm and had everything we needed. The host Kevin was attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you Kevin

I rented the Buffalo cabin for a snowmobile trip. 4 of us total in the cabin and had more than enough amenities for our group. Cabin was stocked with everything we needed we just brought food. Super location as we rode out and also trailered out to local lots.

The buffalo cabin was awesome, highly recommend to anyone! Kevin was great and very attentive. We had so much fun and the property did not disappoint. The description and all the positive reviews are 100% accurate.Hope to be back in the future!!

First off, communication with Kevin was awesome, he responded to our questions immediately. The cabin is very nice. Although we didn’t use the room with the bunks for sleeping, I was impressed with how large that room is. The beds in the other two rooms are super comfortable. Great location, just off the main road through town but tucked far enough back that it’s very quiet. Right near a grocery store, places to eat, etc. The road up the canyon to Jackson is right there as well. We will be back, thanks again for a wonderful home away from home!

The host of this property has paid attention to the smallest details, creating a peaceful getaway. The cabin is cozy and convenient to many area attractions. The deer even find it a safe place, wandering by as the snow gently fell. If you're looking for a place to relax and feel well taken care of, this place is it.

Everything about the Buffalo Cabin was perfect. The beds are so comfortable, the fireplace was beautiful and it was stoked with all the little things you would need. It was a perfect place for our girls trip away.

Very well kept cabin, with more amenities than listed? Camp chairs to take on fishing days were an added bonus for those not fishing! Loved that refrigerator was empty and clean. We got our groceries in Jackson before we traveled to Alpine but the grocery store there was wonderful and I would definitely had used if I had known how nice it was. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

The Buffalo cabin is stocked with everything you might need to cook a gourmet meal. They even had a potato masher! Very clean and well organized. The lower bathroom is a wonder of what can be done in a smaller space. Beds were comfy and the TV room is a great place for the family to just hang out and enjoy watching DVDs or stream favorite programs. The location is just 30 minutes south of Jackson in the friendly community of Aspen, WY. A local grocery store has everything you might need for your stay. Kevin is a wonderful and gracious host and you can really see the love he has poured into this home with every detail. I would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking to enjoy the Tetons!

Cabin was above and beyond expectations. All of the extra things that were thought of was perfect. From the snacks when we walked in, to the popcorn. Pillows were so soft and beds comfortable. Location was quite and peaceful. We were also close to town, walked in one night for dinner.
