We had an amazing stay at this property for our family reunion! It was perfect for our large group — plenty of space, beautiful and comfortable rooms, and lots of gathering areas for meals and hangouts. The beds were super comfy, and everything was clean and high-quality. The house was also accessible for Grandma, which made a big difference. Visually, the place was really cool and fun — thoughtfully decorated and welcoming. The location couldn’t have been better: just a 5-minute walk to the beach and right in the middle of everything we needed. The hosts were fantastic. A couple of small issues came up, and they responded quickly and resolved them right away. We’re already planning to stay with them again — probably in this same property as a group, and maybe even in one of their nearby properties for smaller trips. Highly recommend!

Amazing accommodations ideal location

We totally enjoy renting this place. We loved it so much last year. We didn’t think it could get any better and when we got there this year there were fresh new paint colors and everything is just decorated so absolutely beautiful and the place is spotless. we absolutely love Sherri and we have rented from Her as well as my friends for several years.

We've stayed here 2 years in a row for a work outing with a large group, and it is awesome! There's a pool table, bean bag boards, firepit AND firewood, all kitchen accessories, and just a great space to be able to hangout. Very clean too! Super easy check in and check out. Close to restaurants and the lake.

We had plenty of room and we enjoyed the green space outside. So much provided…from body wash to lord of towels to kitchen supplies! We will be back and highly recommend!!

This was the PERFECT spot for a girls trip for a group of teachers/staff from our school! We come to Okoboji every year for a little getaway and this is by far our favorite spot we’ve stayed! It’s so cute, roomy, and the location is perfect! We will definitely be back!

It worked out well for us

Location was excellent. Walking distance to what we wanted to see in Okoboji. Wife and i, our three kids and their spouses, 9 grandkids and one grand fiancee.

Loved our time at stay-cation! This was such a great place to host our huge group. Plenty of space for everyone to hang out, play, sleep!

We have at StayCation three years in a row and we have had a great experience every time. The house has always been very clean and well stocked. The beds are comfortable and spacious. The outside space is tidy and well cared for. We haven't looked at any other options since we found Sherrie and this house.

Tons of space for boat parking and just down the road from the boat launch.

The stay-cation was a great place for our large group to stay. The location does not get any better. The amount of bedrooms and space it offers for a big group is amazing. Check in/Check out is easy and convenient. If you are in Okoboji with a large group, I highly suggest the stay-cation.

This house could fit a group of 10 with ease. Great location in walking distance to several local attractions and very quiet. All utensils and anything needed cooking wise can be found here. The whole group agreed that we would stay here again.

The place was very clean and well maintained. They have pretty much everything you need- coffee maker, full kitchen with utensils and spices, games, towels, washer and dryer, etc. We only stayed 1 night, but it would be a wonderful place to stay a whole week! Close to the lake and walkable distance to downtown.

Our group really enjoyed the space and the ability to meet/eat together. The rooms were great! It worked perfect for us!
