The view from this home is one of the best of rentals that I have stayed in. We could have spent hours just watching Mother Nature at work. The location of the house is fantastic! The home could possibly be absolutely perfect if it was updated a little bit. It just seems a little worn. Also want to mention that the fireplace has an “out of order” sign on it so if that’s something that’s important to someone you may want to inquire about that before you go.

Love this house but think it is overpriced and the agency is not very accommodating. Pay for two nights but very late check in and very early check out plus expectations about cleaning etc. Great location, lovely home although linens were not the best and pillows need to be replaced.

The house was perfect for a friend's getaway weekend. The views are absolutely some of the best on the Oregon Coast!! The furniture is comfortable and waa perfect for 3 people to read, crochet, and watch tv in all weekend...perfect for wave watching too on the stormy weekend. Kitchen was decently equipped but some items are old and well used. The king bed was super comfy. The queen bed was hard, or maybe extra firm which was uncomfortable for the night but I've also slept on worse. The 2 bathrooms was awesome - though the guest/hall jack'n'jill bath had a strong mildew/rotten egg smell the whole weekend. We didn't call on it because at first we didnt know where it was coming from and thought maybe it was tbe ocean smell or like mop water or something but after closing the bathroom doors for a few hours the smell had left and then the next one of us to open the bathroom realized the smell was contained to the bathroom. We just kept the doors closed the rest of them time (when.not using the toilet) and it didn't bug us. Also having access to the garage was awesome! It was very stormy and chairs and wheelbarrows and stuff was blowing around all night so it was great peace of mind to have my car in the garage. The garage also had a moldy smell but we didnt spend time in tbere other than to park. All in all we loved this place and will definitely stay again! Great for 2 or 3 people. Could maybe do 4 if there being only one sbower wasn't a big deal to you.

What a wonderful location! We loved the view, the proximity to town, and the house was very clean. Would definitely stay there again!

Our second time staying here - first time was a couple years ago (I believe it was it was a relatively new rental then), and time has taken its toll. The good: The waves crashing right outside is awesome. I'll never tire of that view. The living room/kitchen/great room area works well. Last time we were able to park in the garage, a bonus, but this time it had a car in it (I assume the owner's). Not a big deal though. The not-so-good: One of the big picture windows and the master bedroom slider have failed seals so fog up depending on the weather. Also the main bedroom's mattress old such that it's tall in the middle and slopes down to each side. And it shows that it's managed by a commercial company like Meredith - surface cleaning is all that happens, and some deep cleaning is longgg overdue. Wiping up a spill on the kitchen floor revealed the floor is actually a fair bit lighter, and verry dirty. Furniture & other bits are definitely showing a lot of wear from the time as a rental, so could use some refreshing here & there. And a warning - this could be a *very* toasty house if it's warm/hot out. Only the lower living room windows have shades, and during our stay it got over 80 inside in the afternoon, with windows open to let the breeze through, when it only got up to the high 50's outside. But once the sun goes down it does cool down fairly quickly.
