Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed as a couple, so the accommodation was very spacious. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. The highlight is the terrace, which is large, with half of it covered so you can escape the midday sun. The view is fantastic. There is a very well maintained pool in the development, which was quiet while we were there. There are steps from the access road and parking area to the house, so people with mobility problems need to be aware of this. Location: close to the beaches, but 20 minutes walk, so we usually drove. The house is in a development on a hillside with fantastic views over the valley and towards the sea. The development was very quiet as most houses were empty when we were there. A car is essential. Cagliari is an easy 45 min drive away and is worth a visit. Lots of beautiful beaches along this stretch of coast - you are spoilt for choice! There are mountains to the north, which we drove through (be aware that the Santadi to Cagliari road, SP1, is not surfaced for 24km! But still an interesting drive). If you like wildlife, the birds at the stagnos near the coast to the west of Cagliari are great for Flamingos, egrets, etc and the Monte Arcosu WWF reserve NW of Cagliari is beautiful but accessible. Pula is a lovely town with lots of places to eat, otherwise you have pizzerias at the beaches. The closest shops are on the coast road, about 5-10 mins from the house. The owner was very helpful and friendly at the start and end of the stay. Thank you Giuseppina!
