Stayed Jun 24, 2026Very nice property in an interesting area of Charleston. The history of the house is very interesting as well. Comfortable beds, good a/c !! , modern kitchen and bathrooms. Lots of street noise at front of house, but less so in bedrooms at back of house. Quick drive to attractions.

Stayed May 28, 2026We had a great girls trip to Charleston. Read the info book before you set out on foot. It is a up and coming neighborhood. Across the street and toward the water is an old Cigar Factory that has been renovated into a restaurant and coffee shop. It is close to the water. The water nearest to the house is industrial and not accessible, but it is only a short distance to beautiful waterfront boardwalks and piers. You are only a mile away from 1000 a night hotels. Don't be discouraged to go to Fleet Landing Restaurant, which says you need reservations weeks in advance. We walked in and got seats at the raw bar and it was delicious! Our bartender was amazing! Jordan's market on King street is open until 4 am if you need to replenish supplies. Only about 1/2 mile away. All the action on King St and Market St are less than a mile. Everyone we met was very, very nice, helpful, and welcoming. The house was very well located to everything we wanted to do. It was well appointed and the beds were comfortable. The living room furniture is also super comfortable and conducive to conversation. The porch swing is so nice for morning coffee. We had a wonderful trip.

Stayed May 23, 2026We were very happy with the accommodations - the place was very clean inside, with plenty of space for our family of six. In the mornings we would sit out on the side porch to enjoy coffee and pastries, which we purchased from the coffee shop across the street.

Stayed Apr 26, 2026While we enjoyed being so close to the sights of Charleston, there were some oversights that impacted our trip. The HVAC failed during our stay, leaving the house at 60 degrees with no extra blankets available. We had to leave the property for part of the day for repairs. Additionally, the porch needed a deep clean, and the house lacked essentials like a broom and dish towels. It was a tight fit for 5 adults. The interior was clean, but we expected a bit more for the price. The property was advertised with a patio and grill but we were locked out of the back yard.

Stayed Dec 19, 2025The house was older but very nice. We did have an incident with a homeless lady knocking on our door for money and we did see someone walking around our cars but he didn’t mess with anything that we could tell. Other then that it was a very nice trip.
