Stayed Oct 2, 2025The property was as advertised. One of the cleanest VRBO's that I have stayed in. A very charming home with nice updates, a nice backyard and a bonus that it is within walking distance of downtown.

Stayed Sep 17, 2025Overall, it is a very nice and comfortable property. We enjoyed grilling steaks on the grill, played many board games, and relaxed.Easy to get to around Brehnam and surrounding areas. This was our annual girl's trip. We saw the Newman's Castle in Belleville, rode the Carousel and enjoyed the sites and shopping, visited the Cotton Gin in Burton, and the Antique Rose Emporium. Enjoyed some very nice dinners at Brossa's Cibo e Vino as well as Ninety-Six West. The Tilted Windmill for brunch was perfect way to end our trip. The Yellow Door Cottage was very comfortable. The host, Candice, was very responsive and accommodating. They responded very quickly and brought a new Keurig, which worked perfectly. The only thing that needs attention is the water pressure in the shower upstairs. We had a really nice getaway!

Stayed Jul 24, 2025Our stay was short and sweet, but exactly what we needed! A perfect spot for the family of the bride to find peace before the wedding and then to recoup the night of the wedding. The 3 full baths helped tremendously and the loft had plenty of room for dresses and such. The kitchen had everything we needed. Everyone slept well in their comfy beds with great pillows. We would definitely visit this home again!

Stayed Jul 9, 2025The House w the yellow door was very cute and comfortable. It looked exactly as pictured. The beds and linens were comfortable. The AC worked very well and ceiling fans in the den and bedrooms made the house nice and cool. The house was in a good location and a fairly quiet neighborhood. Thank you for sharing your home.

Stayed May 30, 2025We stayed here for my daughter's wedding weekend at Deep in the Heart Farms. It was the perfect distance to the venue as well as to other things in town. Loved the 3 bathrooms.

Stayed Mar 29, 2025Four adult “girl cousins” enjoyed a wonderful stay here in late March. The house is clean, well designed, and charmingly decorated inside and out. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the three full baths. Because it’s located in a quiet neighborhood near downtown and major thoroughfares, we found it easy to drive to restaurants and other points of interest. Coffee drinkers: K-cups, sugar, and powdered creamer are provided, along with paper towels. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Nov 25, 2024We really enjoyed our stay here for our Thanksgiving getaway. Our family consisted of 6 adults and 2 children and it was the perfect setup for what we needed! My only suggestion would be a few more dish towels, pans and a dustpan (to accompany the broom) but we did a fair amount of cooking (which might now be typical of vacationers) Overall, we loved the location of the house (we walked to downtown) and would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Sep 27, 2024Property is very nice, clean and tastefully decorated. Plenty of room to spread out and have space. perfect location to Fireman Field and Henderson Park, also very close to groceries. Only downfall to the place is the kitchen supplies. It has the bare minimum for cooking so if you require anything special you may need to bring it. All in all our stay was enjoyable and when back in the area will look to stay again!

Stayed Aug 8, 2024This property is a nice house and met the expectations of the stay. However, there was very poor communication with the manager as it is managed by a company. They did not respond to questions through the VRBO app. So, messages through the app went ignored for over a week. The check in process was very difficult for the same reason. They would send random emails from their company instead of in the app and not addressing the questions. There was a different person responding at different times. This poor communication process and lack of responses several times keeps me from recommending this property
