Breezy Pad, Close to the Lake, with Hot Tub

The house was nice and clean. The neighborhood is is quiet which we love but close to downtown St. Joseph and neighboring towns. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful girls weekend! The house was perfect for the four of us.

Clean and cozy! Our little fam had a great stay. They thought of everything!

Everything was good. House was clean. Hot tub was relaxing, but it did take a while to warm up. All around great stay.

Although the house all the filters, dryer vents and toaster were dirty. The floors under the furniture had not been cleaned in a while. The kitchen sink drain seems to be clogged since the water from one sink drained into the other. Several of the windows did not have coverings. There was evidence of scented products in use that affected breathing. There are only enough place settings for four people. Beds were very comfortable. Hot tub was a nice feature. Outdoor receptacle handy, we used to plug in our EV. House is close several beaches and good restaurants, like Coaches, and The Brick House.

Very nice clean home. A short 10 minute drive to downtown St. Joseph. Everything worked just like it was supposed to. Comfortable furniture and bed. The hot tub outside at night at 2 below zero was fantastic while watching a full moon. Definitely would stay here again next time we stay in St. Joseph.

Husband and I wanted a night away and are so thankful we found this gem. Easy check in process. Description of the home was spot on. Hot tub was so nice! We loved it. We would stay here again without hesitation!

Home was clean and had the amenities we needed. The hostess was direct and polite enough. The beds in the shared room were extremely squeaky, but the fan in closet was a pleasant surprise (bonus points always for fans ). We tried to enjoy the hot tub, but unfortunately it became very foamy when we turned the jets on. The hostess was made aware of this issue. We were house locked due to the winter weather, so a bigger variety of games would have been fantastic. Overall a pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our 2 day getaway to St Joseph. The house was cozy and we had everything we needed. It was great having our dog with us and having a whole house to ourselves for about the same price as a hotel!

The house is located in a very quiet area, although I was expecting it to be more in town. The exterior was fine, the landscaping needed some upkeeping but we really enjoyed the hot tub. The inside was more or less as expected. The kitchen and dining area were sufficient for our needs and the living room and bedrooms were comfortable. The bathroom was smaller than expected and there was only window unit air conditioning, which didn’t seem to work well, fortunately it wasn’t too hot out during our stay. Our main disappointment was with cleanliness. There was some sort of paper trash under the TV stand and a chair and some hair pins on the floor near the desk in the living room, so the floors hadn’t been swept well… or at all, from previous guests. We went to get a frying pan out of the cabinet to cook breakfast and the cabinet and pans were not only dirty but there appeared to mouse droppings as well!

Cozy and clean. Bathroom was a little on the small side for 4 ladies,but we knew that before hand. The twins beds in the 2nd bedroom, really need to be updated. Squeaked with every move and no box springs. And lastly it would be nice to have more string lights on the Pegola by the hot tub. However with the above being said our hostest Sara was great and very responsive. The house was nice and well appointed. We had a great time and laughed so much. Good location, quiet. Appreciated the recommendation to go the the Welcome Inn, we went twice and had a blast there.

It was a very beautiful stay, lovely home, kind communication with hosts, the beds were extremely comfortable. We loved the hot tub, barbecue, big yard and fire pit! It was very clean and a great place for family. Only issue was that the WiFi was extremely slow, so we couldn’t work online or watch a movie at the end of the day. Other than the wifi, the stay was absolutely wonderful!!

Very conveniently located between st. Joe and Stevensville in a quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed the hot tub and laundry was nice to have. Kitchen was short on cookware which made cooking tricky and window air conditioning didn’t always keep the bedrooms cool but we were there during an unusually hot week of 90 temps.

We stayed at the Breezy pad for a family vacation and it was wonderful. We were able to bring our dog with and the house was very dog and family friendly. We loved that it was close to plenty of beaches and the neighborhood was very family friendly and quiet. We will definitely be making this a yearly family vacation.

Super cute cozy home. Overall are stay was great. It was a little overwhelming when we still hadn't found out to get into the home after driving several hours away at check in time. I was able to contact host and she sent instructions via text due to a auto error. I would stay in the home again if needed.

Home was simple yet clean and had the basic ammenities for a comfortable stay.

This house is a hidden gem! It’s very comfy and in a great location; a quiet little neighborhood just a few miles from Lake Michigan. The A/C units in every room are effective, but a little noisy. But the hot tub more than makes up for it! The host is very responsive and accommodating. 5 stars!!!

The house was ok and the neighborhood was nice, but the description and pictures of the rental were not accurate of the house or location. I would have never rented the house if I knew there were window units, which were not pictured in the listing. Myself and daughter have serious allergies which were exacerbated by the window units. We had to stay out of the house as much as possible so we didn't feel miserable in the house. The bathroom was tiny and there was no room to put anything (toothbrushes etc.). The house had a very musty wet dog smell, overall it was like staying at your grandparents house not an expensive vacation rental that was in the city center on the river.

The house is just what it was described! We love it! Highly recommended

This is a very honest review of our experience and we hold no ill will to the owners. I hope that the owners will make appropriate improvements and be successful renting this property in the future.We stayed for 1 night of our scheduled 3 night stay the major issue was rodent droppings in the kitchen among the pots and pans. Owner did respond quickly after notification of the rodent droppings, and refunded our money.A few things on the listing.Listing states:house has air conditioning. - there is no air conditioningOn a river - its in a older neighborhood in the city. There is a stream about a mile away its not on a river.In the city center - not really what I would call the city center. The neighborhood may be in the center of the city but that's not my definition of a city center.Hot tub was over treated and reeked of chemicals did not get in for fear of burning our skin. I own a hot tub and know it does not have to be like this.There are 2 ceiling fans in the home in the master bed and kitchen nothing in the main living space.We wanted to open a couple of windows to get some fresh air in and circulating. I don't know that the inside of the window casing had ever been cleaned.Pet Friendly for an additional 65.00All in all the house did not live up to our expectations nor (at least in my opinion) those of the listing.

A great value for the low price. Super clean, freshly painted and well appointed. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. Dog friendly house, but the outdoors, no. Smallish fenced area in the corner of the backyard. You must walk a significant bit to get to it. Our dogs escaped from the gated area twice. It is not adequate for small dogs.

We had a great time and appreciated the little touches that made our stay great!

My wife and I booked this for a local get-away. This house was perfect for us! It is local to a lot of great food places and wine/bars!

Nice place , clean , didn’t get to use anything really just there to sleep . Pet friendly means they charge for pets . Would be nice to know that up front

Pictures look good but thats about it. Inside was decent. Outside area is poorly kept up. Theres no awning over the hot tub just in case it rains...heck even one to pull over.. no porch area either.. definitely over priced for what you get. I would have never paid the amount i did. Pictures are certainly deceiving!

We Had to get hotel room, for our senior parents due to 2nd bedroom twin beds. Both beds were thin, and squeaky, from tossing and turning.

The house is so very cute and cozy… the house has everything that you need and is very clean… I love that it is nestled into a quiet neighborhood… we had a little issue with the hot tub but the owner handled it… we would love to come back and stay again.. thank you for everything

The house is just good enough. The twin beds were incredibly squeaky, the stairs into the house are awkward, nice area with things to do. The hot tub was the best

We stayed here because our nephew was getting married close by at Etre Farm. House was just as shown in the pictures. Very clean & cute. It was perfect for our stay. We had 4 adults,1 teen and a small dog. I would say that it only sleeps 4. The couch doesn’t pull out & there wasn’t an air mattress. We made it work though. I would definitely book again if we were in the area.

We had an awesome time in MI. This house was perfect for us and our dogs. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The only complaint I have was the internet.. not sure how you can have such bad internet in 2024. Couldn’t stream anything on the smart TVs. Overall this property was very nice and had a perfect yard for our dogs.

Good location. Driveway is a little confusing. Nice deck and hot tub. House is clean. Main bedroom has Queen sized bed, guest bedroom has two twin beds. There’s a small living area with a comfortable couch, a dining area and a small kitchen.

Property was in a very nice neighborhood! Nice and quiet after a long day of being out and about. House had everything you would need for a relaxing stay. Did not use the Hot Tub but that is a nice feature! Would recommend this property.

The photos on this listing really need an update, as we feel we didn't expect what we pulled up to. Landscaping was severely needed as everything was overgrown. The yard shown is not fenced and there isn't much privacy since it's a corner lot. Upon entering the home the first thing we saw was that the washing machine was broken which we were not informed of. The second thing we noticed is the house's AC is provided via window units--which isn't a problem for most, however we have horrible allergies and this house had no ventilation. We had to run the AC 24/7 for it to feel cool, which also made the house feel muggy and humid. My husband got really sick the first night and only felt relief by sitting outside. The first morning I cooked bacon, which was a mistake because the stove does not have a vent above it, and since the AC was in the window we couldn't vent out the house even after opening other windows in other rooms. Then there's the bugs and cleanliness. We weren't informed that at some point there was a bug infestation and noticed ant traps everywhere and dead ants under the cabinets and on the floors. Every night we were also killing earwigs in the living room and on the walls. Nothing looked clean, overall the floors and walls looked dirty or were stained. The soaps in the house weren't refilled, but instead just refilled with water. Overall, it's a house, it served it's purpose, but wouldn't recommend until the listing is properly maintained.
