We had an amazing time! For once the pictures are as good as the property! Communication with owner was great, property was clean and there were tons of memories made. Just an awesome time!

Beautiful house and location. Two surprises:- main bedroom does not have a door. - We were excited to kayak but the dock was too high to safely get into and out of the kayaks, so we skipped it.

Had a relaxing vacation. We did a lot of swimming and fishing and paddle boarding. Beautiful location and house! Thank you

My husband and I rented this home based on its proximity to the University of Delaware. It was a short and scenic drive from the school and gave us the respite we needed in between all the graduation weekend festivities. We also hosted a brunch for my daughter, her roomates and the parents and everyone who attended loved where we were. The home was bright, airy and picture perfect for what we needed. Also decepitively larger than we had initially thought. I cannot recommend both this house and the hosts enough. I unknowingly left an item behind and they were so helpful and had it shipped back to me the next day! We have stayed at many home rentals and this home is at the top for best experiences. Our days at Serenity were wonderful and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the area!!

We lucked into the perfect destination for family coming from NH, SC, and DE for the holidays. As VRBO owners ourselves we tend to be picky, but this spot delivered on all fronts. Highly recommend!

This was our 3rd stay at this property, and there really isn’t any better in the surrounding area. It’s an excellent location in a quiet neighborhood on the Elk River. There are outstanding views and amenities here. Also, you’re close to great restaurants in North East (try the Forge Southern Comfort) as well as Chesapeake City (Schaeffers Canal House & The Chesapeake Inn are top choices). Also, Jo Jo’s Diner in Chesapeake City for breakfast is very nice. We love this area of Maryland, and this house and location check all the boxes. Betti-Lou is an excellent communicator and the check-in / check-out process is a breeze. Finally, if you have a small dog, this is a perfect fenced in property for your pet to roam. 5-stars for sure, and we hope to be back again soon!

Exactly as pictured for a comfortable, casual stay with friends to celebrate the end of summer. The set up was easy to toddler proof and the pool, hot tub, and view made it feel luxurious. We were thrilled it felt remote but near all the amenities we'd need. We were already talking about booking again next year.

Beautiful well kept house to relax and enjoy with family. So nice they offered kayaks and stand up paddles as part of the rental. There was a problem with the pool heater and the owner came the very next morning to repair…it was Labor Day Weekend!! Thank you Betti-Lou

This beautiful vacation home was so nice, everyone felt like they were at home. What I appreciated most was the communication before, during and at check out. Betti Lou explained everything in great detail so there were no surprises. Even when we were there she had a binder not just about the property but activities/points of interest around the area. Overall very pleased, we will be back! thank you!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. Betti-lou is communicative and friendly. She has provided anything you could need during your trip. My FIL brought his boat, but with the SUP board and kayaks we barely used it. The neighborhood is welcoming and couldn't be more helpful. I'd love to come back ASAP.

This property is ideally located, offering the best of both worlds—peaceful seclusion and convenient access to local amenities and charming town centers. Highly recommend!
