Lake Willoughby is a special place. The view is breathtaking and the fun never stops! From swimming in the lake, kayaking, walking along the beach, sitting by the fire at night, or head over to the bunkhouse for family movie night, you will have endless activities to keep you busy! The wrap around porch gives you breathtaking views of the lake and is a perfect place to have your morning coffee. The private beach is zero entry and is shallow enough to walk out approximately 100 ft.

Stayed Sep 16, 2025Beautiful lake house. It meant a lot more to me because my great great grandfather built it back in 1909. Im thrilled to have the opportunity to stay in this historic building. Plenty of room for a family and the most beautiful view you could imagine.

Stayed Oct 2, 2024House is as advertised and we had an awesome time on the kayaks and paddle boards on the lake. They were super easy for kids to maneuver and the lake is easy to navigate. The view is gorgeous from the porch - an amazing place to see sunrise and sunset. We made smores by the fire pit and there were plenty of comfortable beds to sleep many. There’s only one pub nearby so we cooked most nights, kitchen is dated but works and you hand wash your dishes. A wonderful way to spend a long weekend!

Stayed Jun 7, 2023We stayed at the Lion’s Den for two nights in early June. The pictures do not do it justice. It was lovely. The beach area is soooo nice for littles. We had family photos taken on the North Beach right by the cabin by a local photographer (Kelsey Gilman) and the views were great. Our favorite VRBO.
