Stayed Jan 1, 2026How can I describe Heaven on Earth?! It’s so alive & beautiful here! Pelicans, Manatees, Cormorants to name some of the wildlife you can see here from the 2 provided kayaks, sitting on the screened in porch overlooking the bay or down at the waters edge. If the winds pick up that’s exciting too. Mostly we’ve been blessed with sunshine! This place hands down felt like home! What was important to me first was a private setting with open water view, comfortable king bed & comfortable living room & porch furniture. This home also had 2 recliners which helped me recover from back surgery as if I was home. The kitchen is well stocked with a large pantry & the host provided full size products for kitchen, bath & laundry. Most paper products were also provided. There is a second refrigerator downstairs as well as a large capacity stacked washer & dryer. Other pluses a Smart TV, reliable WiFi, & outdoor fire pit under the gazebo! I must mention that there are 15 steps up to the main entrance to build those leg muscles! The nearby restaurants in Key Largo, Tavernier, Islamorada are amazing! We recommend The Fish House, Snappers, Snooks, Hog Heaven(bbq) Puerta Vall Erta (Mexican). Mangrove Mikes. Best fish dip Buzzards Roost in Key Largo. Marathon 1 hr away The Sunset Grill ( for great food & sunsets)! John Pennecamp State Park is 10 minutes away. Don’t miss touring the Turtle Hospital!Thank you Jose for being a great host & sharing your amazing home!
