Breath of Heaven - Spacious, quiet house across the street from the beach!

The location was absolutely perfect, the home was the perfect size and had the all of the bedrooms that we needed. The rental was clean and everything seemed to be in good working order. The tub in the Jack and Jill bathroom upstairs did drain a little slow and the games they had available were missing pieces so you couldn’t play them, but that wasn’t a huge deal. We drove to Walmart and bought games. The only recommendation I would have is to sharpen the knives and to get a little more cookware. Overall, the home was perfect and we will stay there every time it’s available.

Appliances, fixtures, TVs and furniture are all first rate. The beach is a short walk across the road, as advertised. We would return to this fine property.

Everything was perfect!!

The house was perfect for our large family! Nice to have multiple decks for the teens and adults to have different spaces if we wanted. Love the open floor plan and having 3.5 baths was awesome! The location is perfect and just a short walk across the street to beach access. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

Short walk across the street to the public beach access and right in-between fort fisher and Carolina beach activities. Located in a quiet area for the family but with plenty of restaurants and places to explore for a weekend getaway. Lots of room for an extended family stay and basic amenities supplied. Be sure to bring your own shower supplies! Overall, great stay!

We absolutely loved our stay. House was just perfect! Everything made me feel right at home. Loved the view on the balcony, close to everything.

Exactly as advertised

Six adults (sometimes 8) not enough wine glasses or flatware. Laundry machines behind doors—one of doors missing. Some doors in bedroom area upstairs sticking. 1 small lamp in living area was ridiculously small. House was showing its age, updates needed especially in bathrooms.Bath towels were awful. I would not rent again.

The management was absolutely great, we were caught in a tropical cyclone that hit unexpectedly. The roads were impassable and the management allowed us to stay an extra night even though we didn’t have reservations and we are forever grateful.

Property was clean, and well situated. Close to the beach and activities, but not too close! Far enough from businesses that it is quiet at night. Some activities we enjoyed: ferry to Southport, fishing with Oak Island Fishing Charters and at the Kure Beach Fishing Pier, visiting the Aquarium at Fort Fisher and boogie boarding at the brach's. at Firt Fisheraand

This house has plenty of room for everyone. The walk to the beach is quick and easy. The deck is wonderful for mornings and evenings. Use of the garage is wonderful for storage of chairs, beach bags, etc. A1 Property Management is absolutely wonderful to work with. They reply so quickly to questions / concerns and are willing to help in any way they can. We’ve booked through A1 for 2 years in a row and have no plans to use anyone else!

Easy access to 2 public beach accesses, one has a parking lot, and both are within easy walking distance.

We were three couples ages 23 to 80. The property was tastefully decorated, well supplied, and nicely laid out. It was convenient to the beach and other attractions. We had a lovely, restful stay.
