Breakwater...Oceanfront Executive Home w/hot tub overlooking Bay of Fundy

Had a fabulous time at the Breakwater location. View of the ocean was amazing! Host was very accommodating when I left my sunglasses behind and I arranged for a local friend to pick them up. Would stay again!-Jordan

The property is extremely well equipped. There is no need to bring anything. The furniture was comfortable, the home was very well decorated, (and we were there at Christmas time). The family loved the hot tub and the location was perfect as we were able to go into Saint John for an outing. I highly recommend this property.

We loved everything about this gorgeous newly renovated home and spectacular property. The house, with its lovely coastal theme, comfortable furnishings, and high end amenities could be right out of a magazine. The primary suite was amazing, with huge picture windows and a beautiful ensuite. It was a pleasure to wake up every morning to the sunrise over the water.We enjoyed the spacious yard as well as the fabulous private beach, as did our dog. The local wildlife kept us entertained - we had daily visits from seals, deer, a great blue heron, and a bald eagle.We enjoyed the hot tub after our coastal hikes each day.The location in a very quiet neighbourhood was close to everything one could need.The home owner was most helpful and very responsive to any questions that we had.If we could give this home 10 stars we would! We will definitely be back again.

This is a beautiful property. The view of the Bay is incredible. Everything seemed to be well thought out. The area was quiet and the hot tub was a great way to end our day. Can't recommend this place enough!

This home was outstanding…just STUNNING!The views were beautiful!!I can’t say enough about our experience. Karen, our host, was excellent. We arrived to homemade preserves, a bottle of sparkling water and a box of chocolates with a hand written note and a customized welcome letterboard. Allowing us to have our dogs with us made our vacation even more special. This home has everything you will need. So many things were suppled, it was like staying at a 5 star resort. The appliances, dishes, wine glasses, bedding, and all other finishes are high end. If you have the opportunity, book this rental. You will be thrilled with everything. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This house and it’s location, right on the Bay of Fundy, are exceptional! We stayed there for 1 week with our dog and immensly enjoyed the tranquility, VIEW, watching the seals « sunbathe » on the rocks just in front of the house, the deers, the extraordinary TIDES, and the birds. The entire house was very comfortable and clean and nothing, i mean nothing is missing! Located a short (15-minute) car ride to Uptown Saint John where you can enjoy the Port, many restaurants, and shopping. The host was exceptional, very caring, and helpful. I highly recommend!!! This is by far the best vacation home we ever rented!!

This is our second stay at Breakwater for our annual high school friends reunion. The place is perfect with the most breathtaking views and sunrises over the water. It’s extremely clean, well equipped (we lacked nothing) and ample room for everyone. We travel extensively and this is the first time we’ve decided to go back to the same place…that says it all! Communication, including suggestions from the host, was smooth and appreciated. We hope to be back!

Best clean, spacious, fully equipped kitchen we have ever experienced. The whole home was equisite. The sunrises and ocean views were fantastic. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.The Host was so wonderful and thoughtful, checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. She was awesome, very kind and welcoming.

This is an exceptional home in a beautiful area. I’ve stayed at many lovely vacation rentals, but this one easily tops the list, both for its location, but especially for the design/comfort/luxury within. We found ourselves returning a little earlier from our forays each day to enjoy the place. It was a destination in and of itself!

The property was perfect for relaxing, no detail was overlooked. The house was well-stocked and Karen was quick to answer any questions we had. The bay view was beautiful.

This was the cleanest and most equipped VRBO in which I’ve stayed. The pics of the view are accurate. It’s an amazing place. We saw seals and porpoises daily, not to mention the deer and her babies. It was quiet and beautiful. We went to the local fish market and bought the fresh catch of the day and cooked up a great meal, then took a walk down to the pebble beach. Found some sea glass. Perfection. We plan to return soon!

Absolutely stunning home and the views are spectacular. There was nothing more we could ask for!

This property was absolutely stunning and Karen is the true definition of a superhost. The house was extremely clean and eloquently and tastefully decorated. The view was beautiful, the surroundings were peaceful, the property had all the needed amenities in great working condition and Karen was great at providing relevant information about places to visit in the area. We were even greeted with a welcome sign, box of chocolates and bottle of non-alcoholic wine which was perfect for the family. Everyone instantly felt at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

We had the most amazing stay at Breakwater! We enjoyed breathtaking views, watching the sun rise over the bay every morning, and relaxing in the hot tub by night! This home was stocked with every conceivable necessity, making our stay stress-free. Karen was the perfect host, responding quickly to our inquiries and even supplying little welcome gifts and day trip recommendations! A momma deer and her triplets visited us nearly every morning, adding to our delight, and we do believe we saw seals in the distance. The kids (ages 13-20) and I would highly recommend Breakwater as a relaxing retreat!

Amazing accommodation and property on the Bay of Fundy. Private beach, great for sea glass picking. The host, Karen, was very responsive and provided everything needed and expected, as well as some “extras”. From the expansive property we saw water birds, sea otters, deer and a fox!

The views are breathtaking from all over the house and property. The hot tub was fantastic. The house itself had everything you needed and then some. Beautiful place inside and out. Karen was super friendly and helpful with suggestions throughout the stay.

What can I say?!?! The house and the view is incredible! It was amazing to wake up every morning to that view. The house is so comfortable and Karen was so thoughtful with her treats for us and the kids. Highly recommend!! We will be back!! The kids kitten Inigo says thank you also. Such a great place to stay at.

The house was impeccable and host was super nice. Very comfortable home with amazing views from every room. We had a great time relaxing and watch the changing tides. Walking trails and downtown St. John are only a short drive away. Would highly recommend.

Lovely property with lots of space, very bright and clean

This home is an actual slice of heaven. The photos are exactly what you can expect to find. Karen was a gracious host, and the house has everything you could possibly want or need! The views of the Bay of Fundy are incredible. We really didnt want to leave and are already planning our return!

This property is a gem and the posting doesn’t even do it justice. Karen has thought of everything you might possibly need and more. We wanted for nothing. We brought our 3 grandchildren with us as I was chasing good views of a sunrise, partial solar eclipse. We didn’t have to leave the backyard to find those views. The grands loved the hot tub, the bathrobes and having the whole downstairs to themselves when we weren’t upstairs eating or playing one of the many games Provided. It was a quiet, late winter trip for us, but if you come in summer, you’ll be set up nicely. I wish I hadn’t placed my Walmart order until after we arrived because I found a lot in the well stock pantry that we didn’t have to worry about providing. Thanks again, Karen.

We had a wonderful stay; something for everyone. Relaxing and peaceful - this accommodation had everything we needed and even some things we didn’t realize we wanted. Excellent hospitality!

This place is amazing with a million dollar view. You have everything you need and Karen the host is excellent. She decorated early so we could have an early Chistmas with my in-laws. From the outdoor hot tub to the indoor soaking tub and fireplace relaxing is easy. You can watch the ships and seals even from the kitchen table. The chefs kitchen is spectacular a true dream. The property is huge and thankfully it is dog friendly. My dog loved it here. There is a view from every room.Check in and out was easy. This is the best place we have ever rented and just outside the city so close to groceries and shopping and other atctivites. Karen has thought of everything and added some extra touches you don't get elsewhere. We didn't want to leave. The pictures on-line are accurate but even better in person.We hope to be back again sometime. Memories made here that we will cherish forever.

We stayed here for 8 days with family. I cannot overstate how beautiful this house and location are! The host Karen was a delight, and left no stone unturned. The house has every possible amenity you could want, and the views are incredible. Both sunrise and sunset were spectacular. We spent hours on the private beach just marveling at the colors of the stones and seaglass. It is close to St. John and the uptown area had many unique shops and great restaurants. We also took a day trip to the charming town of St. Andrews, and did nature walks/hikes in New River Beach and the Irving Nature Preserve. We can't stop looking at our photos and are already planning when to return to this truly magical home.

This place was fantastic ! If I could award 6 stars, I would do so. Everything about the home was sparkling clean, and the Host had taken care to make us feel comfortable in every way. We had beautiful sunrises and a couple of very fun evenings. Thank you Karen!

I can't say enough about the property or the experience-- both exceeded expectations. The quantity and quality of the amenities were outstanding. Everything you need and all high quality and in perfect working order. The view is incredible and can be seen from almost every window on the main floor. In addition to beautiful sunrises, we saw at least six seals, a bald eagle and either a porpous or dolphin. We used the hot tub almost every night of our stay, and appreciated the plush towels as the evening tees were quite cold. Within an easy drive to Saint John, but very quiet, peaceful and private. Karen is lovely and is very quick to respond to questions. If I could give it ten stars, I would.

Every aspect of our experience with this property was exceptional. The owners' attention to needs and detailed appointments surpassed any previous vacation rental we've had. The beautiful views of the bay, morning coffee with the seals and sunrise... it was a wonderful way to regenerate and begin this new phase of life.

The house is located on the bay at the end of a residential street. Private , but not secluded. The view of the Bay of Fundy is unrivaled and the sunrises are yours to enjoy daily. The yard is lush and expansive ( wonderful for our Doodle)! The house is modern, spotless , and well equipped with everything to make you feel at home. Hurricane Helene almost scuttled our trip but Karen worked with us and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It’s a wonderful location to explore NB and beyond. I could go on, but suffice to say, this was our top VRBO experience, hands down. You will not be disappointed.

I was worried the pictures were too good to be true but the house was as wonderful as the pictures and the owner was awesome.

This house was so beautiful. My husband, two yrs old son and I had a fantastic stay. We watched seals on the rocks out back. All the little touches in the house were truly appreciated appreciated appreciated as well

The Breakwater is a beautiful property happily situated on the Bay of Fundy. The stay was enjoyable with all the amenities of a luxury hotel in a picturesque and welcoming home. Easy day trip excursions to Fredericton, Fundy National Park, Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park and, of course, Saint John. We took a further yet reasonable drive to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. Host was attentive and friendly.

This property was absolutely beautiful and the sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. Our family particularly enjoyed watching the seals in the back which would gather on the smallest outcrop of rock whenever the tide came in. The property has everything a family could need, and the owner was very friendly and prompt. It's also a great location: 20 minutes from Saint Johns, and roughly an hour-ish away from Saint Martins and Saint Andrews (both locations well worth a visit).

Eveything, location,house, host, area, was perfect. We had a wonderful vacation and we will be back next year. Karen is a great host easy to join. The house is more beautifull than the pictures. If you are looking for a perfect place this is the place in NB
