The Uptown - Two Bedroom with Rooftop Patio

Place was clean, private, and loved the mid century modern look!

kitchen was small but beautiful and well stocked.

The place was awesome…. The welcoming wine was a very nice touch ….. however you should be in good shape to climb to the 3rd floor with your luggage!

Great location, clean and spacious place. There is one bed with a hard mattress and another with a soft one, so that people can choose what they like. Bring earplugs though if you are a light sleeper as the seagulls in the area can be loud at night.

We loved the property, high ceilings and so much character. The hosts have it well stocked and a lovely surprise when we got there. The location is fantastic, within walking distance to everything. If in Saint John again I would definitely stay there.

We had a great stay. Walking distance from everything even in less than ideal weather. Having a parking spot was a plus and the living room has its own door which we took advantage of as an extra bedroom.

Just 3 minutes walk to Canada Game Aquatic Center.Very nice roof top apartment. Very spacious.

It is a lovely old home. It is close to lots of stores and the city market. I would recommend this accommodation and I would stay here again.

This property is an economical alternative to view and enjoy downtown St. John. It is situated within walking distance of numerous restaurants, pubs etc.

The house is well situated, with all major attractions close by including the Saint John City Market (a few blocks away). The living room and bedrooms are very spacious, and the deck is an added bonus. The kitchen is somewhat tight, but well equipped. The owners are super responsive and let us check in earlier and remain later (we had an afternoon flight, and they allowed us to keep our luggage in the apartment). I would definitely stay here again!

My friend and I were in Saint John recently for a book signing event at the 506 Waterfront Container Village. Catherine and Matt were very accessible hosts. Our first night there we arrived late, tired and hungry. Matt was there to greet us and direct us to the apartment and where to park. He recommended Asia's Best Cuisine located right across the street. Had he not recommended it, we probably wouldn't have gone there. But we are so glad we did. We loved the apartment, the rooftop patio, and especially the location. It was an easy walk to shops, restaurants, the City Market, Market Square, and the waterfront. The only downside, for some people, would be the stairs. There are a lot of them!

Comfortable and well equipped apt Quiet. Close to restaurants, market and waterfront. Host timely and responsive communicator. Would definitely book again.

Lots of nice touches throughout and very responsive to a couple issues we had. It is a third floor walk up, so stairs could be an issue for some. Enjoyed the rooftop, too. A great place to enjoy St. John and the area.

Very cute apartment close to downtown

Stayed at this property for two days mid week on our east coast vacation. Beautiful spot, with plentiful space for all of us in the evening to relax in the living room. Rooftop patio was great to unwind in the evening with a drink. Welcome gifts were a great surprise, along with puzzles and toys for our young children. Would definitely stay again.

We like the fact that the owner provided some refreshments for our arrival. We love the area. Everything was great except for the beds, which all of us found uncomfortable.

The hosts were very friendly, professional and accommodating to my every need. My granddaughter also struck a friendly liaison with one of their children. Hop, Skip and Jump to the Saint John City Market, Market Square, Harbour Passage and Area 506 Waterfront Container Village. I had a Reunion on one of the afternoons on my stay and the space was more than efficient to host 25+-. My guests totally enjoyed the VRBO space for socializing, including the roof top patio.
